1、PAGE PAGE 8Unit 1 Reading A Piano Prodigy 教学设计课题:牛津英语上海版,八年级下册,Unit 1 Success stories 教学内容:Reading A Piano Prodigy教 师:广州市第十八中学 邱丹丹 执教班级:初二(1)班课 型:阅读课教学时间:45分钟教材分析:牛津版教材每个单元集中讨论一个话题,单元内各部分内容都围绕该话题展开。本单元的话题为“Success stories”。 本课时是这个单元“阅读”部分的主阅读Reading A,让学生阅读一则校报上的文章,了解郎朗的成功事例,说明了一个人走向成功要付出比常人更多的艰辛,而且

2、要善于捕捉机会。学情分析:初二下学期的学生通过初中一年半的学习,有了一定的英语学习习惯和语言基础,具有一定的听、说、读、写能力。学生对本单元的话题“success stories”是比较感兴趣,每个人心中都有自己崇拜的对象。经过一年半的磨合,教师和学生在课堂上有一定的默契。从初一第一单元的Reading 课文开始至今所学单元课文,采取各种形式对课文内容进行复述,训练学生口语。初二1班的学生在区统考中,排在第六名,平均分能达到区的平均分。大约有13位的学生能大胆的开口说英语,表现欲较强;大约20位学生在阅读方面,能快速准确地找到答案;但初二英语开始出现两级分化的现象,因此,在课堂上更需要生动有趣

3、,有针对性的设置任务。教学目标:1.认知目标:1)通过阅读“Lang Lang: Piano Prodigy” 一文,了解年轻钢琴家郎朗的成长足迹以及获得成功的原因。2)通过分析归纳,了解描述人物生平事迹的文体结构特征。3)学习以下词汇:课 标 词 汇award, success, support, encourage, sentence, strict拓 展 词 汇prodigy, pianist, stunning, performance, orchestra2.能力发展目标:1)读:学生阅读过程中,渗透阅读微技能的指导。学生通过扫读,学会获得文章大意,理清文章的脉络。通过查找细节,能更

4、好地理解文章。2)说:能够复述课文;模仿文章结构和运用所学句型介绍自己熟悉的成功人士的生平。3.情感目标: 通过学习郎朗的成长故事,让学生能够借鉴郎朗的成功经验,培养成功所需要具备的优秀品质,树立远大志向。教学重点:1、在教学的各个环节中渗透阅读技巧的训练,指导学生学会扫读、略读和鉴别细节等阅读方法。2、能复述课文的内容。3、能够模仿课文结构口头介绍自己熟悉的成功人士。教学难点:通过细读文章,总结郎朗成功的因素。学习策略1、课前按要求认真预习,利用网络查询有关自己熟悉的成功人士信息。(见附件预习作业)2、在阅读中学会提取人物的年龄、生平和突出事迹等主要信息。教学过程教学过程教师活动学生活动设计
