13、oscow Expo Centre, Moscow, Russia (by Zaha Hadid) Closely located to the Moscow International Business Center (MIBC), this new landmark will expand the current usage as a business zone, into a 24 hour living and events space. The project realizes the possibility of integrating the vertical urban spa

14、ce with the existing horizontal urban fabric of the site. The main function of the horizontal space is to house the exposition and conference halls. The residential tower is designed as an elegant continuation of the Moscow City skyline, with a large vertical volume divided into two smaller shapes.

The area will have few cars most will be parked in an underground parking facility, giving optimum conditions for pedestrians and cyclists. A very special characterist

This effect is achieved by means of a structural innovation. The design not only provides the building

20、 with its majestic pro ingeniously allows for the design of living space with a freedom not normally available in high-rises. The twisting form of the tower provides a structural advantage by reducing the impact of wind turbulence, which affects all tall buildings.作为这个国家最高的建筑,建筑师Calatrava的设计展现了一个高耸,
