58、 TalkaboutEngineRoomOrders.Orderslike“deadslowahead”“halfastern”“fullaheadstop”aresomeexamplesofengineroomorders.Theenginetelegraphisadevicewithapointerandhandle,whichisusedtoconveyordersbetweenthebridgeandtheengineroom.Whenthepersonnelonthebridgemovethehandleofthetelegraphonthebridge,thereisacorrespondingmovementofthepointeroftheengineroomtelegraphtogetherwiththesoundofagong(盘形钟).Theengineermaneuveringtheengineattheengineroomonhearingthegongandthemovementofthepointerwillacknowledgetheorderbymoving
