Is it cold? 2、技能目标: 能听、说、认读Read and write部分的内容。 3、情感目标: 让学生培养时刻了解天气的好习惯,激发学生学习英语的欲望和兴趣。 教学重难点 教学重点:1.单词sunny 、warm 、cold 、snowy的读写。 2.句子:Its cool. Is it cold? 教学难点:Is it,?Yes, it is.

2、 No, its not. 教学过程 Step 1 Warm-up 1、Free talk between the teacher and the student s. 2、Let chant Rainy, rainy, Its rainy in London. I have to open up the umbrella. Windy, windy, Its windy in Beijing. I have to hold on my hat. Sunny, sunny, Its sunny in Singapore. I have to put on my sunglasses. Snow

3、y, snowy, Its snowy in Moscow. I have to put on my boots. Cloudy, cloudy, Its cloudy in Sydney. I have to take my raincoat. (设计意图:学生乐于经受,而且根据歌词设计了配套的动作,通过这首歌来营造欢乐的课堂气氛,调动学生的参与热情,并起到复习知识的作用。) Step 2 Pre-reading 1、掌握四个四会单词的认读和书写:sunny、cloudy、snowy、windy。 (1) PPT shows the word “sunny” and ask a studen

4、t to read. Then the teacher reads:sunny, sunny. Ask the Ss to write it with their fingers.(可再请学生作为小老师示范领读)What s the weather like in New York?Its sunny. Whats the weather like in Beijing? Its sunny. 晴天。 (2) PPT shows the word “cloudy” and ask a student to read. Then the teacher reads: cloudy, cloudy

5、.(按升降调开火车读)Ask the Ss to write it with their fingers .What s the weather like in Sydney? Its cloudy. (3)PPT shows a picture. Teacher ask Ss look at the picture and say: Whats the weather like Harbin? Lead Ss say: Its snowy . (4)PPT shows a picture. Teacher ask Ss look at the picture and say: Whats t

7、固已学的这四个单词及句型,并进行单词的拼读训练,通过用手指在空中书写为下面的正确拼写单词做准备。) 2、Play a guessing game. T: (教师呈现四张四会单词的卡片)Look , whats this?(lead students say the words : sunny , warm , cold and snowy. ) Every group will have a volunteer . Teacher presents a card to you and ask you to guess what it is. If you are right, I will g

8、ive your group a sticker. Teacher presents a card to himher and asks himher to guess what it is. S says: Is it cold?(yes) c-o-l-d ,cold. 如果猜对了,教师引导该学生示范拼读边用手指书空,其他学生反复。 (设计意图:通过游戏,对课文的难点句型Is it ,进行重复操练,使学生明白其疑问语气及其回答方式,并能熟练运用。) 3 . Game: Lets help. PPT shows the four word. Ask the Ss to divide them

9、into two groups. Let the Ss to know “and”. S1: Whats the weather like ,? S2: Its _ and _. 4、 “Ah-choo, its snowy and cold, help, help. Who can help me?” Lead one student to pick up a coat to you. Then say:“Thank you! Heres your reward.” (设计意图:对下文将出现的重点句型提前认知,为下文的学习理解做好铺垫。) Step 3 While-Reading 1、T:

Read the dialogue in pair of two. 3、Which picture is missing? Can you guess what will they say? 1) Free talk. 2) PPT shows the dialogue. Ss read af

17、学词描述。 教学过程 (一)热身、复习 (Warm-upRevision) 教师播放第三单元的歌曲“My clothes”,让学生一齐跟唱,复习服装类名词。 让学生将学过的服装类名词归类:Clothes for warm days Clothes for cold days,为下面即将学习的对话进行铺垫。 3、教师播放图像资料,引导学生根据人物服装来猜一猜天气情况,复习单词:warm、hot、cool、cold。 (二)呈现新知(Presentation) 1、Lets talk 教师根据当时情况说:Its hotwarm. Can I wear my shirt(sweater, skirt

18、, dress,)? 并引导学生回答:Yes,you can.或 No, you cant. 并进行板书。 学生分小组练习: A:Can I wear my,? B:Yes,you can. No, you cant. 出示单词卡片:wear,让学生朗读,并引导学生说出意思。 教师说:Mike has a new shirt. He likes it very much. Can he wear it? 播放Lets talk部分教学录像,学生观看。 教师提问: (前两幅图) Can Mike wear his new shirt?学生回答:No. Why? 学生回答:Its cold. (第三幅图) Is it cold? 学生回答:No, its warm. Can Mike wear his new shirt? 学生回答:Yes. Can Mike wear his T-shirt? 学生回答: Yes. 学生看配套动画, 模仿跟读。教师对学生的语音、语调进行必要的指导。 学生分角色朗读,表演对话。教师可以先与一个学生进行示范性表演,以降低本项活动的难度。 创新练习:根据所给情境两人一组编对话。 今天你要和同学去公园,和妈妈商量要穿什么衣服: A:Its , Can I wear my,? B:Y
