1、典范英语(6b-L6)SuperdogTeaching aims: Aims on knowledge:Ss could be able to read&understand : crept up,screamed, dock, need a lift,mean dog, girder,crowd, pipe.Ss can get the main idea: The children wanted Floppy to be Dog of the Year, but Floppy didnt want to do tricks.The children went to swim with Mu
2、m.The magic took Floppy to a big city. In the adventure , Floppy saved the baby, caught the thief, saved the boy,protected the dog and rescued the man. The children came back, they wanted to train Floppy again, but Floppy ran into the park and hid inside the giant pipe.Aims on ability: Ss could be a
3、ble to: understand the story and answer the questions, Q1:What did Floppy do to make him a superdog? Q2: What else did Floppy do as superdog? retell the story through the key words, read the story dramatically and fluently,Aims on emotion: Im just me.Dont force others to do the thing that they dont

5、e superdog. .Blackboard:二、课时安排每周不少于两课时,1-2个课时完成一个故事。要求学生课前反复听录音跟读。三、教师要求1. 教师课前须熟读故事,了解故事内容。2. 对于较难的单词,教师可板书,并配合动作和表情帮助学生理解。3. 全英文授课。四、教学用具多媒体设备、CD机、课件(课题组提供)。5、 课堂教学基本步骤:1 .Duty-report:用时5分钟2.Pr-reading:导入(Lead-in):观看电影闪电狗片段,引入故事。 用时5分钟。通过播放电影闪电狗片段,激发学生兴趣,引出关于super dog的讨论,为进入故事做铺垫。首先,教师播放视频:Lets wa
6、tch a video.然后,教师通过提问与学生互动:Whats this video about?What did Bolt the dog do in the video?What do you think of Bolt?What do you think super dogs can do?讨论后,通过问题引导过渡到讲故事环节:Today we are going to learn a new story, Superdog. Who was the super dog in the story? What did he do? Lets look through the story
7、and find it out.3.While-reading: 用时15分钟看图讲故事(Storytelling):听老师讲故事,了解Floppy独自去冒险的背景,体会Floppy的无奈心情教师讲解故事图片1-7,学生通过老师的讲解和看图去了解Floppy独自去冒险的背景。提醒学生注意语音语调,体会Floppy应对孩子们时的无奈心情。(Picture1)The family watched “Dog of the year show” on the television. Look at this dog. His name called Pepper. Pepper ran quickly
8、 and didnt make a mistake. “ I hope Pepper wins.”said Kipper. (Picture2)This dog called Raffles. Kipper liked him more than Pepper. “I want Raffles to win.” Did Raffles win at last? Pepper won the race. Look at Floppy. He was asleep on the floor. Biff poked him with her toe and said “Wake up ,Floppy
9、 ! Why cant you do clever things like them?” Floppy opened one eye and then went back to sleep. If youre Floppy, what would you think? (Picture3)The next day, the children went outside to play. Floppy was fast asleep on the grass.(Picture4)Then Biff found a box. “Come on ,Floppy! Lets see what you c
10、an do? Did Floppy want to jump?He thought : “Im too old to do tricks.”(Picture5)But the children made a course for Floppy. It had all kinds of things to run round or jump over. “We must give him a treat every time he does well.” At first, Floppy did quite well. But soon, he was tired and fed up. I d
11、ont want to be Dog of the Year, I just want to be left alone.” “Oh, Floppy, Youre hopeless.”(Picture6 )Wilmas mum came round. She wanted to take everyone swimming. Look at Floppy. How did he feel? Why? Nobody to train him. I want to find a quiet place to go to sleep.(Picture7)Floppy crept up to Biff
12、s room and jumped on bed.He was almost asleep when something made him open one eye. What happened? (Picture8)The magic took Floppy to a big city. The city was full of people and traffic. Look at Floppys face, what was his expression? He looked really surprised.This is a different adventure. What hap
13、pened next?4. 朗读故事(Reading Dramatically):学会绘声绘色地朗读故事,朗读与理解相结合 承接讲故事环节,引导学生带着问题去朗读,帮助学生理解故事,抓住故事主要情节。朗读时,教师要提醒学生注意语音语调,注意读出戏剧化效果。(1) 请学生分角色朗读图片9-11,,并回答以下问题: What happened next? How did Floppy save the baby? (2 ) 请学生依次朗读图片9-11,,并回答以下问题: What else did he do as a super dog? 教师可展示图片引导学生,如图13:caught the thief;图16:saved the boy;图20:protected the little dog;图22:rescued the man。(2) 请学生集体朗读图片23-25,并回答以下问题。What happened after the adventure?5. Post-reading(Discussion): 回顾故事,展开主题讨论,深化学生对故事
