To enable the pupils to express whether they are able to do something by learning the below sentence patterns:- Can you?- Yes, I can. / No, I cant.b. To enable the pupils to ask and answer reasons by learning below sentence pattern

3、s: -Why?-Because Im a 2. Ability aims: a. To improve the pupils' abilities of listening, speaking and reading b. To enable the pupils to use the target language to communicate with others in their daily life.3. Moral aims:a. To inspire the pupils interest in learning English.b. Through group wor

4、ks and games, cultivating the pupils' consciousness of cooperation. Teaching important points:1. Sentence patterns 1:- Can you? - Yes, I can. / No, I cant.2. Sentence patterns 2 -Why? - Because Im a Teaching difficulties:1. The pronunciation and meaning of “because”.2. How to keep the pupils con

To enable they can make use of the target language.Part 2 The analysis of pupilsFor English, the pupils of Grade 3 are just at the primary perceptual level. However they are good at imitating and are curious about new things. Ac

Greetings, say “Good morning” to the whole class.2. Chant a little poem togeth

8、er- <I am, I can>.T: Class, hows the weather today?Ps: Its sunny.T: Yes, Its sunny and little bit hot. I like sunny day, do you like sunny day?Ps:T: Good, before our class, lets chant a little poem together, OK? Ps:T: Look at the screen, do you know it? <I am, I can?> Ps:T: OK, good memo

9、ries. If you can chant, please listen and chant the poem together. Everyone, when you chant, do the same actions as Miss Liu does.(Purpose: To warm the learning atmosphere and stimulate pupils' learning interest. At the same time, to recall the sentence patterns we learnt in the first period and

10、 lead in new sentence patterns.)Step2 Ask and answer (3 minutes)Ill do some actions we learnt before, and ask the pupils a question directly. Sentence presentationIll use my masks to act as some animals and set it as the situation in “Lets talk”, then lead in the new sentence patterns.T: Boys and girls, l

12、ook at my head, who am I? (Point to the mask.)Ps: Monkey.T: Yes. Can I climb?Ps: Yes.T: Yes, I can climb. Why? (Write a big question mark on the blackboard and play it on the screen.) Do you know “why”?Ps: 为什么。T:Yes, youre right. Read after me, why, 为什么,why.Ps: why, 为什么,why.T: OK, answer me, why I c

OK, class, read after me, because, 因为,because.Ps:T: Because Im a monkey.Ps:(Ill use other masks to practice the sentence patterns with the pupils)2. Sentence consolidationIll use a game f

14、or sentences practice.Passing game:Ill divide the pupils to four groups. Each group will get a flower and an animal mask. When I drum, the pupils at the first row will pass the flower one by one to the back row and the mask from last row to the front. When I stop, the pupils stop their passing, and

15、those who get flower and mask will ask and answer as below:F: Can you?M: Yes, I can. / No, I cant.F: Why?M: Because Im a The better groups can get a flower.(Purpose: By playing games, practice in pairs. I want pupils to know: learn English is a very happy thing, and they can master the content durin

16、g the games.)Step4 Lets talk (10 minutes)1. Ill play the PPT and MP3 of the dialogue for the pupils, and let some pupils tell us the contents of the dialogue in Chinese.2. Problems finding (The pupils ask their questions of the dialogue and Ill explain for them.)3. Act it out. (Ill divide them into

17、four groups, each group act as one role in the dialogue.)(Purpose: because I set the similar situation for the pupils practicing the sentence patterns in the dialogue before, so they can easily understand the dialogue and act it out. When they act it out, Ill let the pupils pay attention to their voice, tone and facial expression.)Step5 Sum up and Homework (3 minute)1. Summarize the key points of this lesson with the pupils.2. Practice the new sentences with you partner after class.(
