1、新目标英语Unit 2 I used to be afraid of the dark单元教学设计 一、教材内容及分析本单元为人教版（Go for it）Unit2 I used to be afraid of the dark.其中心话题为“talk about what they used to be like”，围绕谈论自己和他人过去的变化和经常做的事，谈论自己和他人过去的外貌、性格、爱好等与现在的变化展开教学活动。本单元的主要教学任务是，使学生能掌握运用本单元目标语和相关词汇，并能和同伴进行口、笔头交流，通过交流客观地认识自己目前具备的优点和存在的问题,改进不足，发扬优点,树立自信心.

2、本单元的重难点是，掌握学习运用本单元的基本句式，掌握、区分used to; but的用法，以及be interested in, sure, be terrified of 等词汇、短语的正确用法。根据新课标要求、教材内容和初中学生的学习实际，我采用任务型教学途径，在考虑任务设计中力争做到符合学生的年龄特征和语言学习水平，并运用多媒体教学手段为学习学习营造良好的学习氛围，尽量使学生在轻松愉快的语言氛围中完成学习任务，在形成语言能力的同时形成正确的学习习惯和学习策略。二、学习者特征分析九年级学生经过七、八年级的学习，已经具备了一定的语言运用能力，他们已经学习过一般过去时，大部分能利用一般过去时谈

3、论过去发生的事情，并且已经掌握了表示外貌和性格的一些词语，对谈论过去的事情并不感到陌生，因此本单元教学难度不大。同时九年级学生好动，喜欢与他人交流、谈论自己过去的经历，能谈论的话题比较多，只要所选话题适合学生生活实际，学生就会积极参与语言活动，这都为很好的完成本单元学习任务奠定了很好的基础。三、单元整体目标分析1、知识、能力目标（1）掌握以下基本句式A：-Mario used to be short !-Yes, he did. Now hes tall.B：-I used to eat candy all the time.Did you?-Yes, I did. And I used to

4、 chew gum a lot.（2）掌握以下词汇A、used to , be interested in, be terrified of , dark, insect, sure, spider, chew, gum, comic, candy, dailyB、学会正确使用used to；掌握、运用used to be和used to do的用法（3）能力目标能够正确运用本单元目标语与和相关词汇、短语开展听说读写活动，和他人进行交流，能听懂他人谈论关于自己的过去所做的事情、经历、变化，以及体貌、性格、爱好方面变化的内容，并能就上述方面事件和他人进行口、笔头交流，谈论、发表自己的观点。通过阅
