1、as引导的从句省略有没有规则,as引导定语从句语法归纳as.as引导比较状语从句的省略问题1. I read as many pages as are required.这句中没有省略,其中的as是关系代词,引导定语从句(as are required )。句意为: 要求读多少页我就读多少页。2. The girl are as busy with their work as bees.原句有笔误,girs应为girls 。此句可认为bees之省略了系动词are 。 as- as结构 的基本用法,句意为:姑娘们的工作十分忙。注意句中的as busy as bees为习语,意思是“非常忙”。3.
2、 Work is as necessary for peace of mind as for health of body.此句若要说有所省略,可认为是 Work is as necessary for peace of mind as it is necessary for health of body的省略,其意为:工作不仅对于心灵的平静是必要的,对于身体的健康也是必要的。4. Buying a new bike is sometimes as cheap as repairing the old one is.不知你的句子出处何处。感觉句末的is是多余的。句子大意为:买一辆新的自行车有
3、时跟修理旧自行车一样便宜。as引导定语从句语法归纳(一)as(代词)引导限制性定语从句1 .当先行词是“such/the same+S词”时,用as引导定语从句。即,such+n.+as(代词), the same +n.+as( 代词)。例句(as指代such+n.,作主语/宾语/表语) We invited all such people as were likely to come.(as 在从句中作主语。as=all such people , 即,All such people were likely to come.) I have never heard such stories
4、 as he tells.我从未听说过他讲的这类故事。(as 在从句中作宾语。 as=such stories , 即,He tells such stories 。) I ve never seen such a fool as he is.(as 在从句中作表语。 as= such a fool , 即,He is such a fool. )。例句(as指代the same +n.,作主语/宾语/表语)? (as 作主语。The same mosquito(as 作宾语。I lost the same knife(as 作表语。She used to be the Is this the

(=as) yesterday. ) She is just the same person as she used to be. same person (二as).)2 .as与that的区另U。such as(代词)引导定语从句,such-that(连词)引导结果状语从句。如, He is such a good boy as everyone likes.他是个人人都喜欢的好男孩。(从旬缺成分(缺
6、宾语),因此 as是代词(作成分) He is such a good boy that everyone likes him.他是个好男孩,以至于人人都喜欢他。(从句不缺成分,因此that是连词(不作成分)the same as(代词),表示两物相似;the samethat(代词),表示两物同一物。 如, This is the same pen as I used yesterday.这是和我昨天用的一样的钢笔。 This is the same pen that I used yesterday. 这是我昨天用过的那支钢笔。注意:the same,可以与代词as/that连用,也可以与
7、副词 when/where等连用。如, This is the same place where we had the party that day.(where 作状语)(二)as(连词)引导评述性状语从句评述性状语从句,表示说话人的看法、态度、解释或评论。as的意思是“正如/像”。学习这块内容,关键在于区别as与which。本书认为,as (连词)引导评述性状语从句, which (代词)引导非限制性定语从句。所有的能换用 /不能换用的情况,都可以用这点区别 推导出来。下文中,1.讲不能换用的情况;2.讲能换用的情况。1和4是重点内容,2和3仅 供了解。1. as (连词)引导评述性状语从
8、句,which (代词)引导非限制定语从句。(1)引导词词性不同。as是连词,which是代词。(2)从句类型不同。as引导的是状语从句,which引导的是定语从句。2. as与which可以换用的三种情况,纯属巧合。为何说纯属巧合呢?因为,as引导的是状语从句,它可以省略无意义的it (作主/宾语 时)或承前省略(作表语时)。在省略掉这些词之后,凑巧可以把as换作which。(1) which在“主系表”中作主语时,有时可以替换为as。试对比: He married her, which was natural.(不能插入it 。为何此处不能插入it呢?因为,which是代词,在从句中作成分
9、,如果再插入it ,则重复了。) He married her, as (it) was natural.(有无it都可以。为何此处有无it都可以呢?因为,as是连词,as在从句中不作成分,所以,插入it之后,也不重复。又因为as引 导的是状语从句,而状语从句有时可以省略无意义的主语 it o ) She has been absent again, which is expected/(which expectedx).(which+be+v-ed ”时,不能插入it ,也不能省略be。) She has been absent again, as (it) is expected/as e
10、xpected.(“as+be+v-ed”时,可以插入it ,也可以省略be。)注意,which在“主谓宾”中作主语时,不能替换为as。如,Hesawthe girl, which/(as x) delighted him.Tom was late for school again, which/(as x ) made his teacher angry.(这两个旬子为何不能看作as从句省略it呢?因为,在状语从句中,一般在“主系表”情况下,才可 以省略it ,而以上两个句子都是“主谓宾”。)(2) which作宾语时,有时可以替换为 as。试对比: He is from the south
11、, which we can know from his accent.(不育9插入 it ) He is from the south, as we can know (it) from his accent.(有无 it 者B可以)(3) which作表语时,有时可以替换为 as。试对比: He seemed a foreigner, which in fact he was.(不育9插入 a foreigner ) He seemed a foreigner, as in fact he was (a foreigner).(有无 a foreigner 者B可以。因为,在状语从句中,承
12、前省略了a foreigner 。)总之,as是连词,which是代词,两者截然不同。二者能换用的情况,纯属巧合,并不 能说明它们词性相同。打个比方,一个马群和一个牛群,偶尔在同一地方吃草,但是,马还 是马牛还是牛。3 .常见的as引导评述性状语从句。见下表,分类举例主系表as (it) is often the case , as (it) is natural , as (it) seems likely主系+v-edas (it) was pointed , as (it) is mentioned/repeated/said ,as (it) have been announced ,
13、 as (it) has been said before主谓as (it) often happens , as (it) appearsas I remember/understand (it) , as we had expected (it) ,as I have said (it) , as we see/know (it) , as everyone knows (it)注:关于状语从句中的省略,可以参看本章第七节以及第十二章。4 .注意as/it/what的区别。如, What is known to us all is that China has the largest po

22、本书 却讲解为“as (连词)引导评述性状语从句”?到底该听谁的?1 .为什么一般语法书讲解为“ as (代词)引导非限制性定语从句”呢?有三个原因:他 们认为,既然“ as/which在三种情况下可以换用,那么“ as与which一样都是代词”。这 种认识是以偏概全,是错误的。打个比方,两个人偶然见了几次面,有人竟然由此断定他们 是弟兄!他们认为,既然引导限制性定语从句的as是代词,那么,引导非限制性定语从句的as也是代词。他们虽然觉得 as与which很不相同,但是不知道如何去解释二者可以换 用的现象。2 .为什么不能按照一般语法书的讲解去学习?如果按照一般语法书讲的去学习,开始可 能感觉很好(两个词能换用么),但是一定会越学越糊涂。因为,关于能换用的情况。能 换用的情况纯属巧合,导致每一条能换用的情况后边都要加个“注意:在这种细分情况下不 能换用”。关于不能换用的情况。学习不能换用的那n3种情况时,更是只能死记硬背了。3 .本书的讲解好在哪里呢?本书的讲解,仅仅一句话,即,“as (连词)引导评述性状语从句,which (代词)引导非限制性定语从句”,就解释了能换用/不能换用的所有情况。本文的理论依据和理论创新:(仅供教师参考)一般书中都说as(代词)引导非限制性定语从句,本书为什么说as(连词)引导评述性状语 从句?本
