1、Unit5 First aid Warming up, Pre-readi ng and Readi ng 一、设计思路 1、 指导思想: 本单元讨论有关急救的知识。本节课为本单元的第一节课, “热身”(Warming up) 部分首先阐述了什么是 first aid(急救);然后,让学生描述所给的六幅图片,最后要求 学生分组讨论对这六种情况应该分别采取什么急救措施。“读前”(Pre-resding) 部分通 过图片引发“烫伤”话题,继而讨论烫伤后该怎么办,这样,就自然地把学生带进了 阅读课文。“阅读”(Reading)部分首先陈述皮肤对人体的重要性,然后介绍各种起因、 三种不同的烧伤程度以及
2、他们所表现出的主要症状和所应采取的急救措施。学生们在 日常生活中会经常遇到一些意外情况,但并不是很清楚该采取什么样的急救措施。 在本节课的教学设计中,教师从大量的图片和生活中的真实情境着手,使学生在 已经积累的感性材料的基础上,随着阅读的层层推进,不仅增进了对烫伤的了解,而 且学会对不同程度的烫伤进行分辨及急救,提高了学生在生活中对付突发情况尤其是 烧伤的急救能力。并利用多媒体技术创设各种情境,为学生提供了众多参与的机会, 这样既保证了信息的大量输入,又实现了足够的输出,而只有通过输出才能使学生真 正掌握所学内容,真正成为课堂的主人,充分调动了学生自主学习的积极性。 学生经过初中及高一阶段的学
3、习,已具备了一定的阅读技能,如查找细节信息, 抓住段落要点和全文大意等,在阅读速度方面也有了较大的提高,这有助于学生较好 地完成这个课时的课文阅读。 2、 教学目标 知识与能力目标: 1) 学生能够正确理解本课出现的单词及词组。 2) 通过深层次的理解,使学生掌握各种不同意外的相关急救措施;了解烧伤的分 类并学会在生活中正确地运用急救知识。 3) 通过个人活动,同伴活动和小组活动,使学生掌握速读一略读一精读一寻找细 节一总结等阅读文章的各种阅读技巧。 4) 通过寻找关键词、主题句等方式,训练快速并准确地确定文章的段落大意,理 清文章的总体框架与脉络的技能。 情感与态度目标: 1) 体验使用多媒
4、体手段辅助学习的乐趣和成就感。 2) 通过对普通急救知识的学习及对急救案例的分析,让学生们掌握常见的急救措 施,学会应对紧急事件,并在必要的时候向他人伸出援手,发挥人道主义的救助精神。 方法与途径:通过学习,采用并学会自主学习、发散思维及合作交流等方法 现代教学手段的运用:利用多媒体课件创设情境,为学生提供大量的输出机会, 提高学生的听说读写能力及培养他们的发散思维与创新能力。 3、 教学重点与难点 1) 了解不同的意外情况并学会运用相关急救措施 2) 掌握不同阅读技巧获取不同信息 3) 训练用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力 、教学准备 收集各参考书及网络教育教学资源并制作

Do not wash the venom off the skin; do not try to suck out the venom-a snake bite Put a bandage on the wound and apply pr
14、essure to reduce the bleeding. Have the victim sit down and elevate the foot. Put an ice pack on the ankle to reduce the swelling.
