1、扶輪八景 Rotary Land Marks扶輪新生復康中途居舍扶輪新生復康中途居舍位於新界青山,由九龍西扶輪社已故前社長鄔為庸醫生牽頭,3450地區過半扶輪社參與建立,讓康復中的精神病患者生活和工作於中途居舍,為重返社會做適應準備。扶輪新生復康中途居舍剛開始時只有幾千平方呎,目前已發展至數萬平方呎,設有面積廣大的農場和其他生活設施,環境優美憩靜。Rotary New Life Halfway Houses for the Mentally HandicappedNew Life Halfway Houses for the Mentally Handicapped were sponsore

2、d and built by more than half of Rotary Clubs in the District 3450, under the leadership of PP Dr. Raymond Wu of Rotary Club of Kowloon West. The New Life Halfway Houses provided a remedy place for the recovering Mentally Handicapped patient to work and live before they go back to the society. Stari

3、ng from few thousand square feet area, Rotary New Life Halfway Houses recently expended to more then ten times of space covering farms and other facilities. 禮貌雕塑禮貌雕塑由九龍西扶輪社為彌敦道栢麗大道段捐贈建造,目的是鼓吹零售業注重禮貌。香港已成為國際旅遊城市,宣揚香港好客精神和禮儀之都是非常有意義的項目。因此禮貌雕塑選擇設立在遊客最集中的尖沙咀彌敦道,雙手緊抱的雕塑像徵來自世界各地的旅遊人仕共處一方建立彼此的友誼。Courtesy S

Since Hong Kong becomes an international tourist city, it is good to promote courtesy to the pu

5、blic for welcoming people from various cities around the world when they visiting Hong Kong. Joined Hand Sculpture indicated a symbol for all people join together and made friends.宏揚抗疫精神建築景觀<<宏揚抗疫精神建築景觀>> 是九龍西區扶輪社的一個社會服務項目。2003年在香港發生的全球首例非典型肺炎傳染病除帶走數百生命,更特顯香港人的無畏奉獻精神。扶輪社為紀念抗疫捐軀的醫護人員和社會各界

6、人士,以及讓抗疫精神這個積極信息能在社會間廣為傳播,特別在香港公園構築<<宏揚抗疫精神建築景觀>>,希望抗疫精神繼續鼓舞港人的同時,扶輪的服務精神亦能更為推廣及為人認識。Fighting SARS Memorial Garden in the form of an “architectural scene”.SARS brought with it a lot of anxiety and pain to Hong Kong and other parts of the world in the first half of 2003. Nevertheless, our

7、 community demonstrated exemplary qualities in which people of Hong Kong can really take pride. By May 2004, it became the firm belief of the Rotary Club of Kowloon West (RCKW) that a piece of lasting work should be built in appreciation of the tremendous efforts from all the people of Hong Kong dur

8、ing the trauma of SARS, including medical staff, government officials and the public at large.With support from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Architectural Services Department, Central and Western District Council and New Century Forum, RCKW and Hong Kong Institute of Architects co-o

9、rganized a design competition for building of a Fighting SARS Memorial Garden in the form of an “architectural scene”. All design entries were adjudicated by a panel of distinguished jurors including three renowned architects, Professor Jao Tsung-I and Professor Joseph J Y Sung.扶輪百周年濕地研究院扶輪百周年濕地研究院由

Rotary Centennial Project came to its conclusion with the formal inauguration on 23 February 2005, the 100th birth

The ceremony was officiated by guest of honour Prof the Hon Arthur Li Kwok-cheung, G.B.S., J.P., Secretary for Education and Manpower, HKSAR, DG Alex Mak and WWF Hong Kong CEO Eric Bohm. Rotary Centennial Institute for Wetland Conservation aimed to encourage citizens to

14、山(又名大帽山)山腰。新界扶輪社陳日新創社社長在1969年倡議興建扶輪公園,幸蒙當時新界政務司鍾逸傑爵士鼎力襄助,獲新界民政署及軍部在大帽山麓撥地六十餘英畝鳩建公園。後來不斷籌款加建各種設施,成為觀光遊憩勝地。2001年獲台北陽明扶輪社贈送櫻花樹苗一百株,移植園內,藉此美化公園。近年來,扶輪公園更添設自然教育徑,在各種植物旁豎立標識介紹相關植物知識;隨自然教育徑可漫步至大欖水庫,沿途風景優美怡人。Rotary Park at TaiMoShan Rotary Park located at TaiMoShan, New Territories which is the second high

Promoted by Charter President Chan Yat Sun and fully supported by Hong Kong Government, Rotary park has its 60 acres area partly covered with 100 cherry blossoms donated by Rotary Club of Yang Ming, Taipei in 2001. With continuously development, the Rotary Park nowadays become

16、s nature education path opened for the public which is a good plant educational outdoor institute for citizens. Through the beautiful scenes of the path can also reach Tai Tam Reservoir.扶輪導向之光紀念碑 - 石鼓洲扶輪導向之光紀念碑建於離島石鼓洲,高十二公尺,重六噸,防風設計並有晚間射燈照明;在船隻往來頻繁的珠江三角洲出海口主航道上,直徑5.5米的扶輪標誌清淅可見。紀念碑圍牆刻有扶輪社及戒毒文獻,充分體現綜合

17、扶輪四大服務精神職業服務;社區服務;國際服務和保護行星地球的扶輪奉獻精神。石鼓洲距長洲約20分鐘航程,是提供予自願戒毒人士的治療所,很多工作人員都是志願工作者。島上食水和供電自給自足,島內建築以及花園、休閒設施由住民和志願機構如扶輪社共同修建。Rotary Light Monument at Shekuchau Rehabilitation CentreThe Rotary Monument is built in Shekuchaus to-be theme park, about 12 meters tall; total weight about 6 tons, wind-assiste

18、d rotating with lighting at night, bears a great Rotary wheel visible about 5.5 meters in diameter to all cruises and boats entering and leaving Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta, with walls to be erected with inscription of anti-drug materials and Rotary materials. It is a combination of Rotary S

19、ervices including Vocational Service (volunteerism of Rotarians in design and fund-raising, and in seeking building material), Community Service (anti-drug and target youth), International Service (will be a tourist spot, one day tour for visitors from other countries), and lastly Ecology Preserve P

20、lanet Earth (it goes with a green park and re-forestration,).Shekuchau is an island guarding the entrance of Pearl River Delta and the Channel islands. It is about 20 minutes boat ride from Cheung Chau. All 300 odd residents are males on a voluntary de-drug program. They are not prisoners. The train

21、ers are employed by SARDA, with many volunteer has-beens returning to help at no cost. The island has its own water and electricity supply, and many scenic spots and buildings constructed over the years by the residents, among which are more classifications than perhaps in Rotary.保護行星地球雕塑 沙田中央公園保護行星

22、地球雕塑建立於1992年,由香港著名雕塑家文樓先生創作雕刻,豎立在沙田中央公園婚姻註冊處旁。 “保護行動地球” 是扶輪社一個持續經年的常設主題服務項目,通過各種多樣化服務來達至保護地球的目的。保護行星地球雕塑希望提起大眾對環境保護的關注。雕塑由當年3450地區保護行星地球委員會負責統籌建造並邀請到1992-1993年度國際扶輪Dochterman社長親臨香港主持揭幕。國際扶輪3450地區時間囊亦於該年置放在雕塑之下。“Preserve Planet Earth” Sculpture Shatin Central ParkEstablished in 1992, “Preserve Planet

23、 Earth” Sculpture was created and carved by Hong Kong famous sculptor, Mr. Man Lau, which situated at Shatin Central Park.Preserve Planet Earth is the continuous environment protection theme raised by Rotary with yearly processed by contributing various services to protect our living planet. Preserv

24、e Planet Earth Sculpture wishes to spread a continuity message to the public for environment protection. Sculpture was organized and constructed by District 3450 PPE committee and has invited Rotary International President Clifford L. Dochterman being Guest of Honor at inauguration. A Rotary Interna

25、tional District 3450 TIME CAPSULE also installed below the Sculpture.Macau Rotary Bus Shelter 澳門扶輪巴士站澳門扶輪社興建的扶輪巴士站位於Rua Praia Grande,靠近Octagon Pavilion 的Grancisco Garden內。車站建於70年代後期,是澳門第一個有上蓋的巴士站。當時澳門的公共汽車斑次不穩定,如遇上烈日或下雨天氣,乘客候車時苦不堪言。澳門扶輪社有見及此,特意興建中國傳統式上蓋連座椅的巴士站方便市民。由於近來巴士斑次頻密,原有座位已移走,但仍見證扶輪社對澳門的服務。目前

26、澳門眾扶輪社更計劃在市中心籌建扶輪百週年時計紀念碑並於近期完成。The Rotary Bus Shelter is located at the Rua Praia Grande near the Octagon Pavilion at the Francisco Garden. The bus shelter was built in the late 70s and is the first bus shelter in Macao. At that time, bus stops in Macao had no covers or shelters. Buses were schedul

27、ed irregularly especially on the route to the then hydrofoil pier. Passengers had to wait for a long period in the sun or in the rain on rainy days. The Rotary Club of Macau decided to provide a sheltered bus stop with seats for the convenience of passengers waiting for a bus. With the cooperation of the Macao government, the Rotary Club of Macau was able to provide this bus shelter built in the traditional Chinese style. In recen
