3、 and decision making. Ø 教学目标Knowledge objects:·Students can master the following new words and phrases: be famous, travel around the world, make a lot of money, get an education, go to college, professional soccer athlete, get injured, give money to charities. ·Students can understand

4、 conditional adverbial clause with if.Ability Objects:·Students can use conditional adverbial clause with if to talk about consequences and make decisions.·To train students ability of listening,speaking,writing, communicating through different types of learning tasks.Moral objects·Ar

6、e teaching procedure is as follows:The first step is Revision and Warming up. It includes two parts. First, I will divide the whole class into two groups(boys vs girls),and they will have a competition to say out the correct sentences according to the slides. After that, I will give students a topic

7、: What will you do if you have a robot? Students are required to work in pairs, use conditional adverbial clause to make up a dialogue combining some knowledge that learnt in Unit 1.They will have several minutes to prepare and I will invite some pairs to act out their dialogues. The purpose of this

8、 step is to review some knowledge that students learnt in the previous lesson and unit, give them a chance to reproduce language output.The second step is Leading in. For this step, I will organize them to have a free talk to discuss the topic: Whats the most important to you in your life? While eli

9、citing some possible answers from students, I will introduce some phrases that may be difficult for students to understand. After students have expressed their ideas, they will finish activity 1 in page 37. By doing so, this step can solve the vocabulary problems and also arouse their interest and a

10、nticipation of this lesson.The third step is Listening Practice. In this step, students will listen the material twice to fulfill two tasks: One is to match the sentences, the other is to fill in the blanks without looking at the books. The listening practice can give students some language input an

11、d develop their language competence.The fourth step is Task-based Reading. First of all, I design 4 questions for students to have a group discussion: They will work in groups of four and I will ask the representatives from several groups to report the results. By discussing these questions, student

12、s can better practice the target language and this activity also helps with the following reading task. As for the reading task, students are supposed to read 3a twice. The first time they need to read quickly to get a general idea and finish the true or false exercise; the second time they should r

13、ead carefully to finish the chart. The purpose of it is to train students to acquire some reading skills, which is a very important skill that should be emphasized. The fifth step is Writing and Speech. By now, students should have a very clear idea of what kind of message this lesson conveys to the

14、m. Students are expected to write a short passage titled “My Own Plan”, which talks about the advantages and disadvantages of their dream job in the future. I will provide some jobs for them to choose and give them an example. Student will finish the writing task under the teachers guidance. I will

15、ask some of them to present their works to the whole class. Other students and I will give some comments. The purpose for me to design this step is to help students to further understand the lesson, relate it to their real life and apply it to their own advantages. The sixth step is Summary. I will

16、make a brief summary of what have been learnt in this lesson together with the students.The seventh step is, actually homework.
