Material analysis本课是第六单元话题三的第三课时,主要活动是通过看图、浏览文章标题对文章内容进行预测,学习常见的交通规则,通过阅读填表掌握寻读的阅读技巧等;学习常见的交通标志,并进一步学习交通规则以及一些简单的交通违规现象的英文表达法,培养学生的交通安全意识,懂得珍爱自己和他人的生命。还根据常识学习用祈使句来表达交通规则,帮助学生树立遵守交通规则的意识。II. Teaching aims1.K no wiedge aims能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读和拼写下列词汇:safe, hurt, lose, accide nt, obey, ru
2、le, cross, sig n, before, both, third, last, careful, ticket, sp eed, wrong, p lace, fast能够正确使用祈使句的肯定和否定形式,如: Be careful! Turn right.(3) Don'play on the street.能够就“谈论交通标志、交通安全、交通规则和警告”等话题功能进行交流与对话操练,如:(1) First, we must obey the traffic rules.(2) Second, before we cross the street, we must stop
