The lesson plan I am going to talk about is from NSE Book 1 Module 3 making plans Unit 1 What are you going to do at the weekend? I will explain how to teac

2、h and why so do from the following 5 aspects: 1、The theoretical basis(理论依据)2、Analysis of Teaching Material(教材分析)3、Teaching methods and studying ways(教法学法)4、Teaching procedure(教学过程)5、Evaluation and reflection(教学反思).The theoretical basis(理论依据)According to the New Teaching Curriculum, Ss play the main

3、roles during the class. So, all the activities applied in class should focus on them. In order to highlight Ssrole position, most of the important knowledge should be acquired through their own experience. The teacher wont talk too much. Instead, he/she will provide practicing opportunities as many

4、as possible.Analysis of Teaching Material(教材分析)My understanding of the teaching material includes 3 parts: the state and the function, teaching objectives, the key and difficult points.Firstly, lets focus on the state and the function. Module 3 Unit 1 is mainly about describing what are you going to

5、 do. It requires Ss to be able to use structure” be going to”. Besides the new words before going to the key part-grammar.That is all for the teaching material and the new teaching curriculum, in order to fulfill the teaching task of this lesson. I set the following objects:1. Knowledge objectiveBy

6、the end of the class, Ss will be able to use the structure of “be going to” to express what is he /she going to do and be able to use its structure, and learn the new words and expressions2. Ability objectiveDuring the class, Ss will be encouraged to practice” be going to” structure as much as possi

7、ble. They should improve their listening and speaking abilities. We can make a preparation for the reading and writing part of unit 2.3. Moral objectiveAccording to learn this unit, we can make a confident for English learning. Make a sense for the important of making plans.4 The key and difficult p

8、oints. (1)The key points:some key words and expressions and the usage of the structure” be going to”.(2)the difficult points:Use the structure” be going to” to express your own plans and arrangements. Ask and answer other peoples plans and arrangements.Teaching methods and studying ways(教法学法)That is

9、 all for my understanding of the teaching material. Now, lets come to the teaching methods and studying ways.During the class, Ss can learn through discussing, cooperating and communicating.I will use the blackboard, computer, tapes on the text and PPT as my teaching aids.Teaching procedureNext, we

10、will go to the most important part-the teaching procedure. It includes 5 steps: step1-lead in; step2-use; step3-practice; step4-summary: step5-ReflectionStep1.lead in(8min)The lead in step. I1、I will ask Ss to look at a picture. In the picture I will give a phrase. Use the continuous tense and the f

11、uture tense to ask and answer. At the same time point out the difference between the two tenses. At last emphasis the future tense.2、Ask the student to look at the pictures and make short conversations. Students use the future tense. The phrases are the new expressions in this unit. In this step, I

12、will try to talk less and encourage Ss to practice more. The purpose is that the rules found by Ss themselves will be much more impressive.Step 2 Use (23min)1、In this step, I will give the students the new expressions and the time used in the future tense. After that ask students to do more practice

13、. Students can learn the future tense and the structure” be going to”by themselves according to more practice.2、After that, Ss listen to the tape on the text in order to get more familiar with the structure and prepare for the discussion、practice in the next step.I want to say, I have divided the di

14、alogue in to four parts, each part I have given one question. The purpose of the arrangement is that it is connect with the entrance exam to senior high schools. Students can make a practice now.Step 3 Practice (10min)1、Ask students to read the dialogue with their partners. They can get more familia

15、r with the structure” be going to” Then ask one group to read it. After finish the activity 4.In this activity, it required the students to answer the questions. I I think it is a little difficult, so I change it into choosing. Students can do it more easily.2、Fill in the blanks .we will check wheth

16、er the information they have got is correct. By doing this, Ss can have a deeper impression on “be going to” structure and use them flexibly. This is another way to practice our important points.Step 4、Summary(3min)At the end of the class,I will ask students what they have learned in this class. The

17、 students summarize the knowledge they have learned in this class. I will emphasis if the students missed. Step5、homework(1mins)Try to talk about what you are going to do this weekend. Try to use the future simple be going to.
