1、module 2 great booksunit 1 confucius' works are read by many people课型:听说课【教材分析】本模块第一单元对话的话题是上一模块school magazine的延续,由betty为校刊栏目寻找素材而引出great books的话题。在语法上以一般现在时被动语态为主,这是学生们第一次感知、体验并全面系统地学习被动语态这个新语法的起点。【教学目标】1. 知识目标:能正确理解并使用下列单词works, influence, thinker, thought, wise, copy, monthly, literature词组和句

3、。【教学重难点】: 一般现在时的被动语态的用法【教学过程】一、课前朗读根据音标读出单词works, influence, thinker, thought, wise, copy, monthly, literature并了解汉语意思,养成学生自主学习词汇的习惯,促进学生迅速进入学习状态。 (二)朗读单词,注意发音二、情境导入标题导入:“recently ive read a great book called romeo and juliet. im deeply moved by it. have you ever read some great books?” 随即将第2模块的标题 “g
4、reat books”呈现在黑板上,鼓励学生说出他们读过的名著。这里用学生们熟悉的话题导入新课,能够激发学生学习的兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,更重要的是通过老师的表述,如运用重读、稍慢的语速等方式强调被动语态的句子,让学生们在真实的语境中感知被动语态。三、小听力(自主完成,合作质疑)听activity2,展示三幅图片,问“who are they? do you know something about them? try to use the words in the table to help you.”,学生们两人一组描述图片,之后,听磁带看学生们的匹配是否与所听到的一致。四、对话处理大听力,多

29、_)+ 动词过去分词 2) die,dead,death:a. die 死,去世,为非延续性_,不能与一段时间连用,表延续性应用_.例如:she_ three years ago. 她三年前去世。she_ for 3 years.她去世三年了。b. dead 为_词, 意为_, 与_连用表状态。 例如:the poor man is dead.这个可怜的人死了。c. death为_词, 意为_.例如:her death is remembered by us forever.他的过世永远铭刻在我们的心中。d. _为die的现在分词,也可作形容词,表“垂死的,濒于死亡边缘的,枯萎的”之
30、意,例如:she is dying.她快要死了。e. die of表示“死于(某种疾病、意外等)如:he die of hunger before liberation. 解放前他死于饥饿。3) pleasant,pleased,pleasure的用法:都含有“满意、高兴”之意,但词性和用法各异。a. pleasant意为“令人愉快的、满意的”,是_词,一般用来修饰_.如:it is very _to sit down after standing for hours站了几小时后坐下来很舒服。b. pleased表示“自己
