2、综合性地从地理、历史、政治、文化和旅游等方面详细地介绍了联合王国。本篇文章语言难度不高,较为容易理解。在pre-reading部分,通过回答问题和头脑风暴式的对话,能够使学生很快地熟悉本单元话题并为阅读做好充分的背景知识准备。阅读任务的设置结合细读和泛读两种阅读方法,能够帮助学生更好地理解文本含义,也能够训练学生分析、概括和归纳的技能。通过本单元的学习,学生能够对联合王国有清晰和深刻的认识,能够掌握相关的重点词汇和短语并将他们灵活地运用到不同的语境中,能够更好地归纳文章主旨大意,能够在听力过程中抓住关键词并分析理解相关信息,能够学会写旅游景点介绍类的文章,能够增强文化理解和跨文化交际意识。语言
