Although these figures are in different age, have different sex, occupation. But when we observed carefully, it is not hard to find that there is one thing in commo

These images that were shaped by Hemingway has been accepted as Code Hero by readers and literary critics. This image of Code Hero has experienced a process of development and change. And these d

Ernest Hemingway was a famous American novelist that has shocked the literary world. He was not only the image spokesperson of Lo

His image creation generally stands on his own personal point of view, based on personal experience, with unique vision for this world. He gradually shaped

His works on the life, world and society have shown the confusion and lost . Hemingway's life and literary career were controversial from the outside world

20、 in the beginning. Whether as a legendary figure, nor as a writer, Hemingway, with his unique artistic style and superb writing skills, created a simple and smooth, natural and succinct style, purified the traditional literature in Europe. After the outbreak of World War I, Hemingway, with a strong w

He used the telegraph -style language, through simple dialogue and detail, with a subtle, indirect way imply dramatic changes in the character of the heart, rather than the traditional approach to lay out the character as described by heart. As to the end, there is often a

In brief, it means courage, perseverance and never giving up. It concentrated in four aspects: first, never give up hopes in any difficult conditions; secondly,

29、 keep this spirit and never admit failure in the process of fighting; third, behave heroically in the actual battle; and last, endure the loneliness in the long process of the fighting. In this thesis, Ill analyze some different aspects of code hero and Hemingway. First, I will analyze how Hemingway

Third, Ill choose some typical characters in Hemingways works who could show the spirit of code hero.2. Factors shaping Hemingways Writing Style.Hemingways experiences of personal gr

They all suffered from the reality, but they all, just like Hemingway, did not give up and faced it bravely. That is Hemingway, that is code hero. In 1918, during the First World War, Hemingway was

Nobody requested him to do so, he is not an inborn war resister, his passion of joining the war was a result of incite, delude, publicly and education, and also an inevitable result of youthful fl

To a young man, there is full of illusion and expectation of the future, they always think that war is just like the description in the books that it is mysterious and unrelated with self safe. They feel the war can not hurt them but can bring them newness. Hemingway wanted to be a formal fight

He determined to experience the war regardless of status.Hemingway wounded in the battle and got 227 wounds. Next year, he went back his home, and this was totally a hero's triumph. His father urged him to find a formal job, his girlfriend left him,

Of cause, many nights that have lights, I could fell sleep. That is because Im so sleepy” (The Old Man and The Sea, H

Hemingway once wrote “I can remember it until now; it scared me for 10 years so that I could not write it down. The

The characters he shaped in these two novels are called Lost Generation. His spirit of Code Hero began to reveal sharply at this time. Just as his heroes in his books, both

You have to win, to kill those who wage wars.” said Hemingway. In this place, Hemingway hooked on bullfight, there are many description of bull

In this period, Hemingway wrote a famous novel about the Spain Civil War, that is For Whom the Bell Tolls. In For Whom the Bell Tolls, Hemingways thought transformation

But they formed a sharp contrast. Henry said goodbye to the war after disillusion. Otherwise Jordan was willing to carry on his

He began to hate wars, but the spirit of Code Hero has become deeper in his mind. He would never yield to injustice; his desire to conquer the unknown world and difficulties is stronger than ever.2.3. After WarsIn recent unrest one hundred years, wars, or big or small, spread all over the world, especially the two World Wars are bitterly unbearable
