It might appear in anentrance exam, in a regular class, or in a small public speech.Those who fail to detect its real nature-whether an opportunity

3、or achallenge a competition really is- will lose something more or less conducive toour growth. Of course, if we take the competition as an opportunity, we willfavor it intentionally because they can help us outstand from the average; theywill make us become the focus of public attention; they will

4、grant us morechances and rights to succeed.As a matter of fact, opportunities are supposed to be more perceptible andwelcoming than challenges. The truth is, however, we will lose moreopportunities when we choose to take the opportunity fork at the crossroads.The other fork, ignored by us and define

5、d as fearful challenges, offers muchmore chances for the walker in competition. We have such an inclination in lifeto overestimate ourselves and hold a thoughtless attitude towards the negativeoutlook of things.We believe in the old saying, Opportunity knocks but just once, so wealways welcome it an

6、d devote all our spirit and efforts to it. The most devoutbeliever of this saying are the graduates. Why? There are quite a number of themwho pay full attention to positions in big cities and are willing to flood intodeveloped areas under any circumstances, even though there will be too muchuncertai

7、nty for their choices. Innumerable cases go straight to the samemiserable end: God seems to refuse to help too many of His worshipers.In conclusion, to define the quality of competition seems to be far fromvaluable sense, for no matter what a competition is, an opportunity or achallenge, it will cre

8、ate nutritious elements for our growth.So take a positive look at everything around. 12、ys ,because theyregard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals andculture.Frankly speaking, I dont quite agree with them.Indeed, we should neverneglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as China boasts a brillianthistory and splendid traditions. 13、ant we absorb themeaningful western holidays and culture.There are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular inChina. On the one hand, some of the western holidays which we Chinese dont haveare reasonable and meaningful, such as Fathers Day and April Fools Day etc. Onthe other hand,th

14、e prevalence of globalization enables western culture toprevail in China. Overwhelmed by such a trend,Chinese unconsiciously getinvolved in western holidays and culture.With the further development of the whole world, the cultural communicationbetween different countries and nations becomes faster a

15、nd more and moreimportant. We are indeed from different nations, but we are the citizens of thesame world, so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealthof everyone on the earthhe only way for us to protect our traditional cultureis to reject the foreign culture? The answer is

16、definitely no. What we ought todo is to spare no effort to educate Chinese to get to know and treasure oursplendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture. Only by educating canwe set our confidence and belief towards our culture. Only by educating can wepreserve and promote the wealth that

It would take six months to find theright person. And Mark has been extraordinary, as a leader in maintaining a ver

22、yhigh bar and at time walking away from people who are receiving outstandingrecommendations, but either don t fit from a cultural stand point, or they renot going to scale and they d the wrong person a year or two from noAnd that is certainly, as an investor and board member an ongoingchallenge. How

23、 do you deal with that trade-off where you absolutely need an adsales force, but at the same time, it s one person at a time. You just can t saylet s go out and hire five good engineers or five good ad sales people and nothave them be great. Because the B+ or A- people, you know it, they ll hire B sand B minuses.
