How often do you watch TV? 你多久看一次电视?【巧解句构】 这是一个由特殊疑问词组how often引导的特殊疑问句,其结构是:How often +一般疑问句?ho
3、w often表示“隔多久一次”,用来询问动作频率。它的答语一般是表示频度的副词或副词词组。联想发散 (1)注意how often,how soon和how long的区别。(参见本单元“语法链接”。)(2)频率的表示法:次数+时间周期。次数的表达可以用“数字(大于等于三)+time(s)”结构。2. Most students exercise three or four times a week. 大多数学生每周锻炼三四次。【巧解句构】 most students作句子主语,谓语用复数形式;three or four times a week是副词词组,表示“每周三四次”,作状语。记忆要诀
4、 以下图示用以区分none, some, most和all:3. She says its good for my health.她说那对我的健康有好处。【巧解句构】 句中的its good for my health作says的宾语;句中的it指上文所说的“喝牛奶”。联想发散 由good构成的常用短语:be good at擅长于be good for对有好处He is good at speaking English. 他擅长于说英语。Eating vegetables is good for your health.吃蔬菜对你的身体有好处。4. Of course, I love junk
5、 food too, but I try to eat it only once a week.当然,我也很喜欢所谓的垃圾食品,我尽量一周只吃一次。【巧解句构】 这是一个由but连接的并列句,前后两句句意有很大差别;要注意句中副词too、only的位置;句中的try to do sth.表示“试图做;尽力做”。联想发散 词组例句说明try to do sth.He tries to catch the early bus every day.他每天尽力去赶上早班车。尽力去做(未做的事)try doing sth.I try drawing a panda. 我试着画一只大熊猫。(正在)试着做某
6、事5.Somaybe Im not very healthy, although I do have one healthy habit.因此我或许并不很健康,尽管我确实有一个健康的习惯。【巧解句构】 although是转折连词,表示前后两句意思相反;句中的do表示强调。第一个healthy在句中作表语,第二个healthy作定语,修饰habit。may be,maybe may be和maybe一分一合,但它们的含义和用法却截然不同。 maybe是副词,意思是“也许、可能”,在句中作状语,相当于perhaps,常位于句首。 Maybe shell come this afternoon. 她
7、可能今天下午来。 Maybe you put the letter in your pockets. 大概你把信放在衣袋里了。 在may be中,may是情态动词,be是动词原形,两者构成完整的谓语形式,与主语形成系表结构,意为“也许是、可能是”。 I cant find my watch. It may be in your pocket. 我找不到我的手表了,它可能在你的口袋里。 He may be a soldier. 他可能是军人。 maybe和may be可相互转换。 He may be in the office. = Maybe he is in the office. 他或许在
8、办公室。 You may be right. = Maybe you are right. 你或许是对的联想发散 although与but的区别:单词例句说明althoughThey are still working although they are tired. 尽管累了,他们仍然在工作。although常常放在句中,陈述“事实”,句意重心不在although 引导的成分butThey are tired but they are still working.虽然累了,他们却仍然在工作。but强调意义的转折,是句意重心所在语法解读1.辨析how often, how long和how s
