1、Unit 3 A taste of En glish humorAbout the本单元的中心话题是幽默”,内容涉及 幽默的种类”、什么是幽默”、喜topic and the剧演员”、喜剧”、笑话”和 文字游戏”等。语言技能和语言知识几乎都structures是围绕幽默”这一话题展开的。通过本单元的语言技能训练和阅读能力训单元话题和练,使学生领会英语国家的幽默表达。结构本单元语言功能项目是:情感。本单元语言结构项目是“-ing形式作表语、定语和宾语补语”。本单元还要求学生学习写作“幽默文:故事”。本单元共设计为十个课时,但在实际教学过程中,建议教师依据学生基础、教学条件、学校安排的因素,合理有

2、效安排课堂。Period 1 toNew words learning给学生拓展相关单词并让学生掌握重要新单词和短P eriod 3语的使用。New words,warming up的比较。这部分的目的有两个, 一是呈现本单元的话题幽默,二是为Warming Up让学生了解幽默的种类,讨论各种英语幽默及与汉语幽默and Read ing本单元Reading部分做好了铺垫。本书提供了如下两个热身设计:Warmingup by learning something about “ Humor” Warming up by watching and listening供教师选择使用。Pre-read
