Win gs Most, but not all, Enn eagram of Pers on ality theorists teach that a pers ons basic type is modified,

20、at least to some exte nt, by the pers on ality dyn amics of the two adjace nt types as in dicated on the Enneagram figure. These two types are often called wings. A person of the Type Three, for example, is understood to have points Two and Four as their wing types. The circle of the Enneagram figur

22、 and Security Poi nts The lines between the points add further meaning to the information provided by the descriptions of the types. Sometimes called the security and stress points, or points of integration and dis in tegratio n, these conn ected poi nts also con tribute to a pers ons overall pers o

There are, therefore, at least four other poi nts that can sig ni fica ntly affect a pers ons core pers on ality; the two points connected by the lines to the core type and the two wing points. Roman Catholic criticism In 2000, the United States Committee on Doctrine produced a draft report on the origins of the Enneagram to aid bishops in their evaluation of its use in their dioceses.
