2、y为介词,用法很多。请仔细观察下面的例句,分析by的用法,然后补全结论部所缺的内容。【例句】1). Come and sit by us 2) Peter goes to work by bus every day.3) Tony will come back by 10:00 pm. 4) English is spoken by lots of people5) My brother studies history by working with a group.【结论】1) by 能够表示位置,(1)_,如句1 也有“从旁边(经过)之意”。2)by 能够表示交通、传递等的方式,如句23)

5、Please speak louder.Loudly 高声地、喧闹地。能够与loud互换,含有吵闹的意思2) What about /How about ? 后跟名词、代词或动词ing用于征求意见。3. Its too hard to understand spoken English. 句中的it是形式主语,不定式短语to understand spoken English 是真正的主语。该句的句型为:Its +too +adj+(for sb.)+ to do sth.意思是: (对某人来说)做某事是太的。如;: Its too important to keep healthly. It

6、s difficult for him to learn two languages.【链接】Too .to结构常表示“太而不能”, too后面接形容词或副词,to 后面接动词原型。如: The room is too dirty to live in . 14、 interested in .在词典里查找单词 look them up in a dictionaryThe third period Language points(3) Grammar一 动名词定义: 它是一种兼有动词和名词特征的非谓语动词形式。基本形式: V+ing作用: 动名词具有名词的性质,在句中能够做主语、宾语、表语、定语等动名词的基本用法: 1. 用作主语。 所表示的动作比较抽象,或者泛指习惯性地动作。例如: Playing with fire is dangerous.注意:动名词做主语,有时先用it做形式主语,把动名词置于句尾。这种用法在习惯句型中常用。1) It is

15、no use /good / useless+doing2) Its a waste of time+doing.3) Its fun+doing.在以上结构中常用动名词作主语。2. 用作宾语。 1)作动词的宾语。 动名词作动词宾语时常见的动词有practice,enjoy,finish,give up,cannot,help,keep, keep on, mind, put off, depend on, think about, succeed in, worry about, be used to , get used to , look forward to , pay attenti

18、他(动作尚未发生) Remember/forget/regret to do sth.(指动作尚未发生) Remember/forget/regret doing sth.( 指动作已经发生) Try to do sth, 设法、努力去做某事。 Try doing sth .尝试去做某事。 Mean to do sth. 打算做某事(主语一般是人)mean doing sth. 意味着(主语一般是物) Regret to do sth. 对将要做的事情抱歉。 Regret doing sth. 对已经发生过的事情感到后悔。 Stop to do sth .停下去做另一件事。 Stop doin

19、g sth. 停止做手头的事情。3. 动名词作表语。 动名词作表语时句子主语常是表示无生命的名词或what引导的名词性从句。表语动名词与主语通常是对等的关系,表示主语的内容。动名词有时态和语态的变化。(略)The fourth periodLanguages points(4)1. But whether or not you can do this well depends on your learning habits. 1) 此句中 whether or not you can do this well 是从句,做整个句子的主语,这种 从句叫“主语从句”。 2) whether or not 是英语从句中的一个连词结构,意思和功能相当于whether,表示 “是否”。常出现在宾语从句、主语从句中,使用时,也能够把whether 和or not 分开, o
