Control4 systems with earlier software releases need to be updated prior to using intercom devices.In addition, the license requires the following prerequisites:2Activate the Intercom LicenseLicense activation is completed on the Control4 web site. Follow these steps.1 Log in to your

9、account on (unless you are already logged in).2 From the My Account tab, click account administration.3 Click licenses and manage licenses.Intercom License Activation GuideThe system generates a 10-digit registration code which appears on the web page.5 Start Composer and connect to

10、a Director.6 On the Composer menu bar, select Tools Account Services, enter the 10-digit code in the registration box, and then click Register. If you are already registered, unregister and re-register the account.34 Under Assign Licenses, click Assign to the right of the type of license you want to

11、 assign.5 In the Assign Software License window, click Assign to the right of the account (must already exist and must be associated with the Dealer account) to which you want to assign the license.The next screen shows the list of accounts with one of these licenses.Synchronize Subscriptions on the

12、 ControllerIn order to synchronize the newly-added subscriptions with the Controller, it must check in with the Control4 Remote Access services.Controllers with a 4Sight subscription will check in approximately every 10 minutes. Controllers that are registered but do not have a valid 4Sight subscrip

13、tion automatically check in every 24 hours.To force the Controller to check-in immediately:1 Start Composer and connect to a Director.2 From the menu bar, select Tools Account Services.3On the Account Services dialog, click Check In.4synchronized and the intercom can be used.TIP: Alternate method. 14、n the Touch Screen, select More Settings Service Connection Check-In.Add the Intercom Agent to the ProjectBefore the intercom on the Touch Screens is ready for use, the Intercom agent needs to be added to the project in Composer.1 Start Composer and connect to a Director.2 Click Agents.3 In the Agen
