Leading-in教师与学生通过谈话交流从而引出本单元的教学目标是谈论what you used to be like. 再展示几张形容外貌及性格的照片,引导学生来描述他们的外貌和性格。T: hello, everyone. I am your new English teacher, you can call me Miss He. Its two years since you came to our school, right? Ss:Yes.T: Yes.Ss: Maybe everyone has changed a little or a lot, right? Now I want to know who has changed a lot in your class. Who?S1: Xu ping. She is taller, and she is more outgoing and friendly and hard-working.T: OK, very good. Today we will talk about what you used to be like. Lets look at some pictures. Who is he?Ss: He is Pan Changjiang.T: Yes, what does he look like ?Ss: he is short.T: what is he like?Ss: He is outgoing.T: Now Lets do 1a, fill in the chart with words to describe people.Step2. Use these words . Appearance: tall, straight hair, short, of medium height, straight/curly hair, long/short hair, heavy, thin, of medium built Personality: Outgoing, shy, funny, serious, cute, quiet, kind, brave, friendly, active.1. I used to be,but now I am.2. I used to have,but now I have.Step4 . Role- play 深化活动,展示交流A: Did Mario use to be short?B: Yes, he did. He used to be really short.A: Whats he like now?B: Hes tall now.Step5 . Listening 明题猜果,循序渐进。1. T: Bob hasnt seen some of his friends for four years. Now hes seeing his friends.
