What happened next? 2. 能力目标:够用英语询问故事的开始、发展及后续等。3. 情感态度价值观目标: 学习愚公,像愚公一样明知困难却迎难而上,凭借自己的力量勇敢的克服困难。愚公不畏艰险,不怕困难,勇敢面对的精神,正是值得我们所学习的。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:掌握本课时中出现的生词: 2. 教学难点:学会询问故事发展的基本句型:1)How does the story begin? 2) What happened next? 三、教学过程Step 1 Warming up and new wordsShow four pictures on Page 41 and tell students that there are four Chinese ancient fairy tales.Present pictures one by one on the screen and teach new words and phrases.Step 2 Presentation1a.Ask one student to read the story titles in 1a, and then ask students to match the titles with the pictures.Then have them talk about them like this.Picture 1:Who is the man? Whats he doing?He is Hou Yi. He is shooting the suns.What is the name of the fairy story?Hou Yi Shoots the Suns.Have students work in pairs with other pictures.Step 3 Listening Have students read the sentences in 1b and tell them: you will listen to a conversation about a story between Anna and Wang Ming.Then play the tape and ask students to listen to the tape carefully and check the facts they hear.Check the answers in class.Step 4 PairworkHave students discuss the questions in the box of 1c in pairs.Then think of how to tell a story.Call some students to report the answers and then try telling the story.Step 5 Listening Have students look at the pictures in 2a and try describing each picture in their own words.Then let students guess the order of the story happened.Play the tape the first time, students only listen and get a general idea of it.Play the tape the second time,this time ask students to write the numbers in front of the pictures.Check the answers in class.Let students go through the sentences in 2b and guess the words they should use.Play the tape again and let them circle the words they hear.Check the answers in class.Have students find some key phrases and language points that they cant understand.Step 6 Look and tellLook at the pictures in 2a and tell the story in your own words.Step 7 Role-play2d. Role-play the conversation.Imagine you are the Wang Ming.
