Unit3 Part A Lets learn, Lets chant教学设计一、教学内容 本课是PEP五年级下学期中的Unit3My birthday第1课时的教学内容。本单元的核心教学内容是月份,通过生日,为学生操练对话创设了一个真实的语言情景,贴近学生的生活和学习实际,有利于学生对语言的学习、吸收和运用。此外,这部分还重点介绍了When is your birthday? My birthday is in-句型。这一单元和上一单元的季节有内在的联系,要懂得划分,并可以互相提问。二、学生分析本课面向的是已有一定英语基础的五年级学生,他们已经具备了初步的听、说、读、写能力,尤其是听、说、读的能力,经过近两年的学习,明显领先于写的能力。因此,他们完全有能力在教师引导下自主性学习。同时,本单元的教学内容与学生的实际生活息息相关,因此本课时的教学内容对学生来说不难理解,关键是句型的学习和在日常生活中的应用。三、设计思路的要求,强调要激发学生对英语学习的兴趣,让学生主动有效地参与学习过程。为拓展教学内容,将学生兴趣得以激发,我把教材转化成动画教学,将枯燥的教学兴趣化,将生硬的教学情景化,通过flash动画教学,以体验式教学形式来引发学生的探究热情。我主要是按照“任务型教学”的结构来设计课堂活动的,运用多媒体课件进行教学。由于所设计的一系列活动始终围绕月份的学习,并且可以对伟人的诞辰进行学习,教育学生要时时缅怀伟人。四、教学内容和目标:1知识:能听、说、读12个月份的名称并能书写其缩写形式。words: January, February, March, April, May ,June, July, August, September, October, November, December.Sentences: When is your birthday ? My birthday is in-.2能力:通过各种活动的参与、实践、体验等过程,提高学生的语言能力和学习能力,让学生得到自我发展和个性发展。提高和培养学生听、说、读和对话交际能力,交往能力和实践能力,以及培养学生通过网络进行自主学习的能力。3情感:以大量的课外知识(节日)来丰富和愉悦英语课堂教学,也丰富了学生文化知识,拓展了学生的视野。五、教学重点与难点:1、三会词汇:January, February, March, April, May ,June, July, August, September, October, November, December.及掌握他们的缩写形式。2、能运用句型When is your birthday ? My birthday is in-对实际情景进行问答。3、难点是January, February的发音和正确书写12个月份的简写形式。六、教学用具:1Powerpoint;2单词卡片七、教学过程Step1.Warm up1.Greeting2.Daily work(1)How many seasons are there in a year? What are they?(2)Which season do you like best? Why? Do you like spring? Whats the weather like in spring?What can you do?(3) How many months are there in a year? What are they? (教学month)(4) How many months are there in each season? What are they?(You can speak in Chinese.)(5) My birthday is in spring. When is your birthday? Its in spring.(设计意图:师生间的英语交流是真实的语言环境,同时也建立起融洽、民主的师生交流渠道。由学生熟悉的季节,引出学习新词汇,做到由简入深,由旧带新。)Step 2.Presentation1.教学January ,February,December(1)师生对话引入单词教学 T: Which month do you like best in winter? 引入JanuaryT:Before/After January,which month is it? 引入February,December(2) 板书并指导读,强调缩写。(3)拓展读 T: What can you think when you see January? 由月份引入节日JanuaryNew Years Day DecemberChristmas Day(设计意图:反馈学生的单词掌握情况,同时同学们对每个月份的节日进行初步了解,加深对课程的知识拓展,为下堂课做铺垫,给教学增添形象性。)(4)Practice: What is your favourite month in winter? Why?2. 教学March , April ,May(1) 引入 T: Winter is too cold for me.Guess, which month do Ilike best? I like April best.Because my birthday is in April. 引入AprilT: Before/After April, it is. 引入March , May(2) 板书并指导读,强调缩写。并对May,may 进行区别(3)拓展读 T: Do you know what festival is in March / April /May? MarchTree-planting Day,Womens DayAprilApril Fools Day MayLabour Day(4)Game: Before and After.在前面学过的单词中,教师随几抽取单词,并举左手或右手。举左手,学生说该单词前一个月份,举右手,则说出后一个月份。(设计意图:小循环的复习形式能够使学生及时巩固所学,游戏形式更能激发学生参与的热情。)3. 教学June ,July ,August(1) 引入,由游戏引入,给出单词May,举右手,教学单词June ,July. T:July is in summer holiday,which month is also in summer holiday? 引入August(2) 板书并指导读,强调缩写, 五、六、七月通常不缩写(3) 拓展读 T:I think you are all very happy on the first day of June.Because it is Childrens Day. Which festival is in August? Army Day . 4. 教学September , October , November(1) 由教师节引入 T:Do you know TeachersDay? Which month is it in? 引入SeptemberT:September is in fall. Fall is golden,and October , November are in fall too.(2) 板书并指导读,强调缩写, 强调September(Sept.)(3) 拓展读T:September has Teachers Day. October has National Day. 5.总结12个月份的首字母大写,及缩写,整体读单词。(设计意图:通过问题引入新词,使学生对要学的词汇有所了解,借助多媒体课件,进行系统学习,发挥学生学习的主动性。) 6.Game: Listen and show.教师出示单词并说,学生跟读并出示相应的手指数。(设计意图:考验学生的反应能力并且及时反馈同学们对本节所学单词的掌握情况。)7.教学句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in .(1) T:Do you remember When is my birthday? My birthday is in April. When is your birthday?(2) Practice: Practise the sentences in group,then act.(设计意图:反复的句型操练,有助于同学们巩固所学生词。)8.Lets chantWhen is your birthday? When is your birthday?Listen and do. Listen and do.
