小学PEP英语4B Unit3 Weather & Seasons 复习课教学设计嘉信西山小学 吴吉香一、 课型:复习课二、 时间:35分钟三、学情分析本单元主要学习有关天气的九个单词及句型“Whats the weather like in? Its. . Can I ? Yes, you can. /No, you cant. Is it? Yes, it is. / No, it isnt.” 本节课为复习课,学生在熟悉掌握单元重点词汇和句型后,拓展到日常生活中与天气息息相关的内容,与季节、服装及活动结合起来,以不同形式呈现四季,让学生学会根据天气变化选择穿衣、选择户外活动等,课堂通过设计一系列的情境活动让学生去说,最后通过写最喜欢的季节来整合、巩固复习所有内容。四、教学目标 1 知识目标:熟练掌握weather相关的词汇和句型;能听说认读四个季节名称及clothes和activities的相关词汇。2 能力目标:能说出四个季节的主要天气特征;能根据天气变化选择服装及户外活动;能用简单的语言描述自己喜欢的季节特征;能根据提供词汇写简单的小短文。3 情感目标:提高学生在复习阶段学习英语的积极性;培养学生学会关注天气变化,并根据变化选择穿衣。 五、教学要求1词汇:hot, cold, warm, cool, sunny, rainy, cloudy, snowy, windy, spring, summer, autumn, winter, coat, sweater, jacket, boots, shoes, shirt, dress, T-shirt, skirt, sunglasses, hat, ride a bike, fly a kite, go swimming, play football, watch TV, read a book, eat an ice cream, make a snowman.2句型: Whats the weather like in_? Its _ in _. Sometimes its _. What can you wear? I can wear _. What can you do? I can _.3. 重点:能够听说读写有关天气的四会单词,能够运用重点句型进行交流,能够运用所学知识在日常生活中进行交际。4难点:综合运用语言知识描述不同季节并写出自己喜欢的季节。 六、教学准备: 单词卡、作业纸、多媒体课件 七、教学流程图: 1. 2. Warming up Sing a song.Play a song “ Seasons song ” to revise the weather.Students sing and do actions to revise the weather.通过歌曲复习四个季节名称及关于天气的词汇,为后面要开展的活动铺垫。Weather report.PPT shows a map of China and have one student do a weather report about different cities. Then PPT shows some key words about weather in Shunde and have another one do the weather report.Students look at the PPT and do the weather report using the sentence structures “Good morning. This is the weather report in . Its in . Put on your . You can do . Thank you.”坚持每天请两名同学做天气预报汇报,对学生的口语表达能力进行直接反馈,同时也锻炼学生上台的胆量。II. RevisionTalk about four seasons &weathera. The teacher asks students some questions “How many seasons are there in a year? Whats the weather like in? Which season do you like best? Why?”b. Ask students to work in pairs.Answer the teachers questions. “There are four seasons in a year. PresentationIntroduce four friends.Introduce four friends “I have four friends. Which season do they like best?”Students think and guess.通过四个朋友来分层呈现新内容。Present summer.Task1: What can you wear?Present summer.Task2: What can you do in different weather?PPT shows one of the friends. The teacher plays the record “I like summer best. In summer, its sunny and hot. I can wear my dress and sunglasses.”Questions: Which season does Miss Xie like best? Why?PPT shows pictures of clothes and different weather hot, cold, cool, warm. The teacher asks “What can you wear according to the weather?”PPT shows the second friend . The teacher asks “Which season does Barbara like best? Why?”Then have students make a phone call to Barbara.PPT shows different activities. The teacher asks “What can you do in different weather?” Students ask together “Miss Xie, which season do you like best?”Answer the question “She likes summer best. Because its hot in summer, she can wear her dress and sunglasses.”.Pair work and answer “Its . I can wear .”Make a phone call to Barbara.Then answer the question “She likes spring best because its warm, sometimes its windy.
