Its about clothes. The topic is related to our daily life, so it is helpful to raise Ss learning interests.This lesson is the fourth period of this unit. In the last three periods , the students have learnt the new words about clothes, sentence pattern “ I like that/those.” to express what kind of clothes they like, “ Whose is / are.” to inquire clothes. In this period, the students will learn more clothes words,besides, how to ask people where and what color is/ are the clothes. The most important part is students comprehensive application of the language.The analysis of the students:The students have learnt the new words about clothes. Patterns: I like that/those., “Whose is/ are.” to express basic message about clothes.The students are happy to get in touch with new things. They are willing to play interesting games and draw pictures with their imagination. They like to read picture books.Teaching aims and demands:Knowledge aims1.To revise the clothes words:hat,skirt, pants, dress.2.To master new words:coat, shirt, jacket, sweater, shorts,socks3.To make the students know how to inquire people with “Where are.” “What colour is it/ are they?”Ability aims1. To develop the Ss abilities, esp. Listening, speaking and reading ability.2.To train the Ss ability of working in groups.3.To develop the Ss abilities of comprehensive application of language.Emotional aims1.
