geological sciences As an undergraduate gifted with psychic potentialities I was honored to participate in the exploration of psychic prospecting During the latest 2 years I have performed various PMP experiments on more than 20 mineral deposits distributed among 7 provinces autonomous Regions The preliminary experimental records are offered as the Appendix I owe a great deal to my advisors Adjunct 1 Somatic Science and Extrasensory Perception Somatic Science can be defined as the observation identification description adjustment application experimental investigation and theoretical explanation of paranormal functions of the human body which is existent in the external world as a conscious Open Complex Giant System According to researches of Somatic Science characteristics of this Complex Giant System can be described with the psychic functioning states of the human body Through the exchange of materials energy and information between the human body and the external environment and the adjustment of consciousness the human body can be tuned by itself into various metastable functioning states from which human potentialities can be kindled A psychic is capable of tuning herself himself into the extrasensory state of psychic functioning after which she he manages to fulfill something miraculous For example exercising psychical powers a human being is capable of perceiving written characters without seeing Psychovision or Clairvoyance of producing or controlling the motion of inanimate objects without contacting Psychokinesis of shifting objects out of a sealed container while keeping the container intact Psychokinesis of sheerly repristinating a sheet of paper after it is torn into pieces Psychorepristination etc Generally speaking extrasensory perceptions qigong traditional herbalism and other phenomena or processes correlating with psychic functioning states of the human body are all research subjects of somatic science Employing theories and methods of systematology somatic scientists are studying the human body the most complicated organism as an open and conscious giant system They are looking forward to unraveling the macrocosmic conditions that keep the orderly structures of this system harmonious and the microcosmic mechanism that transforms this system from one orderly structure to another Therefore the development of life sciences will not only make a breakthrough in our understanding of life phenomena but also possibly reshape the whole landscape of modern science As reiterated by Hsue Shen TSIEN QIAN Xue Sen the famous significant technological revolution that can reshape the whole world 2 2 Significance of the Application of ESP in Mineral Prospecting Researches of Psychic Mineral Prospecting PMP have been carried out in some countries such as United Kingdoms and United States for years In China experiments in this field also have been conducted since 1985 For instance we had performed experiments on prospecting for kimberlite pipes cooperating with the Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources of Liaoning Province for gold deposits cooperating with China Academy of Geosciences etc Since the winter of 1988 our research group has carried out 22 Psychic Prospecting experiments for 9 kinds of mineral resources such as Fe Cu Pb Zn Ni Au Ag and petroleum see the Appendix Based upon the experiments results we figure that the application of human potentialities in mineral prospecting has both practical and scientific meanings 1 Serves as an auxiliary prospecting means together with the conventional means promoting the efficiency of geological reconnaissance survey 2 Provides more guarantee for mineral prospecting through organically combining with geophysical geochemical investigations and then inter comparing and inter verifying their prospecting results 3 Solves geological perplexities through organically combining with prospecting engineering such as drilling and tunneling 4 Serves as the most effective means for field prospecting in some specific cases e g when it comes to target regions of inclement climate and topography Time energy saving and intuitional as it is the Psychic Prospecting I believe as long as we learn from the prospecting experience and improve the prospecting accuracy constantly will turn out to be a promising mineral prospecting means
