module 2 unit 1 is this your mumgood morning, everyone. my name is liyoumei. i come from luxi school.today im going to talk about the topic “is this your mum?”i will divide the instruction into six parts,they are teaching material analysis, teaching aims, teaching emphasis and difficulties, teaching methods,studying methods and teaching steps.part 1 teaching material analysisthis unit is the first lesson of module 2. it is focused on the topic of “ tonys family”. its mainly focused on students listening and speaking abilities. part2 teaching aims1. aims of the knowledge:(1)to know the spelling of some words and usage of some phrases.(2)to understand conversations on family members.(3)to briefly talk about ones family.2aims of the ablities: (1) to develop the students abilities of listening and speaking. (2) to train the students abilities of working in groups. (3) to develop the students abilities of communication by learning the useful structures. 3aims of the emotion:(1) cultivating students love for family and care for family members.(2) understand the diffrence between western family.part3 teaching emphasis and difficulties. 1. to understand the key vocabulary and key structuers. 2. to understand the usage of “this、that、these、those”.3. can use the words to introduce the family members. part4 teaching methods 1. communicative method.2. audio-visual teaching method 3. task-based teaching method the main instructional aims of learning english in the middle school is to cultivate students abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the english language. so in this unit ill mainly use “communicative” teaching method, “audio-visual” teaching method and “task-based” teaching method. ill let the students to get a better understanding of the key structures of the conversations. part5 studying methods 1. to develop the ss abilities of listening and speaking. 2. to train the ss ability of working in groups. 3. to develop the ss abilities of communication by learning the useful structures. part6 teaching proceduresstep1 warming- up1.let the students listen to the song “ i love my family”. and ask them to answer some questions:(1). what is the song about?(2). what can you remember about the song?(3). do you enjoy it?
