新城中学教师公开课资料时间2013-10-25班级初一(10)课题Unit 5 Section B 1a-2c教学目标Knowledge objectives: to master the adjectives: difficult, interesting, relaxing. to master the expression: Lets., That sounds.Ability objectives: to practice the expression: Lets., That sounds. to read, get and identify detailed information. to practice speaking English by giving a report on a chosen ball game player.Moral objectives: to develop the awareness of the importance of sports. to get to know their real interests in sports and form a healthy habit.教学重点To get to know the stories of the three Ss.To carry on a survey and find out a ball game player from classmates.To give a report about the player.教学难点To be active and finish the survey.To organize the language and form a complete report.课堂设计基本思路阐述 The lesson is about ball games, so I use a ball game video to lead in and draw forth the important adjectives. Then, by showing some interesting pictures and listening test to strengthen the meaning and usage of the adjectives. In the second part, I design a sports meeting as a clue to carry on my teaching. First of all, to choose some players for the sports meeting. Secondly. Ask the Ss to read carefully and give the reasons why they choose someone as the player. Thirdly, we will hold a sports meeting, please choose some appropriate players and give your reasons.教 学 过 程Step I. Warming up 1. Enjoy a video : interesting ball games. 2. How many ball games are there? What are they? Step II. Lets see and talk. 1. Do you like the video? Why?Its interesting/ fun. 2. Show some pictures and the Ss use an adjective to describe the picture. Its boring/ relaxing/ difficult. 3. Show some other pictures to practice the adjectives.Step III. Lets listen and write. 1. Listen and find out what Paul says about the ball games? Pay more attention to the adjectives.Advice (ball games)Pauls words (adj.)Lets play computer games.boring 2. Listen again and find out which game is boring and which one is relaxing.Step IV. Lets talk and say (Pair work) 1. One star task: use words and phrases to make up dialogues. A: Lets play basketball. B: That sounds interesting. 2. Two stars task: think up other learnt nouns and adjectives to make up sentences. A: Lets draw a picture. B: That sounds difficult. 3. Three stars task: think up as many learnt sentences as possible to make up a more complex dialogue. A:Do you have. B:Yes, I do./ No, I dont. A:Lets. B:Its. We should cooperate with each other to achieve our goals. 5. After the sports meeting, Frank Gina and Wang accept an interview(接受采访). Who do you think says this sentence? Give a report 课后作业:Write a report about your discussion.整体反思或教学评价Maybe some of the steps are too difficult for my Ss to carry out. But this class developed the Ss reading skills and help them to cooperate. Whats more, by this class, my Ss learnt many new words and phrases as well as get familiar with some sports events. Section B 1a-2c教学反思本节课的重点是听力和阅读,最后根据前面的语言输入做一个调查,输出语言,并在输出的过程中完成选择适合的运动员在校运动会中为班级争光添彩的任务。从老师们的评课中,我认识到在这节课的设计中,以下几个方面还可以做适当的修改,使课堂更加和谐,学生的学习事半功倍。1. 听力部分。在介绍完一系列的形容词之后,直接让学生听录音,找出文中主人公所说的形容词并写下来。这个环节的设计本意是衔接第一个环节,趁热打铁对重点形容词进行巩固。但是我可能没有考虑到初一学生的认知水平,因此在听完一遍之后,几乎所有的学生都没有填出正确的答案。只有再重新播放录音,才在几个好一点的学生的带领下完成。课后我根据老师们的意见对教学设计做了修改:即在表格中先给出一到两个例子,起到引导学生的作用,学生在看到例子之后对接下来要做的任务就一目了然,有助于听力的时候有目的地听,并能快速给出答案,节省了课堂时间。2. 音标。我在黑板上给出了两个单词interesting和difficult的音标,这一点虽然得到了老师们的肯定,但是在听了黄立科老师的课后我才发现,我这样全部写出音标就显得没有针对性。黄老师是写出了学生容易读错的几个元音音标,这样将音标很清晰并有针对性的呈现在学生面前,不仅可以帮助学生识别重点音标,还可以防止学生读错音而导致写错形。3. 用课文中拉拉队为球员加油来作为本课的情感态度教育,可能有点牵强。因此,改成用体育可以强身健体,为成功和精彩的人生做好准备来作为情感教育的基点。总之,这堂课在实施的过程中还是有一些不足之处,在老师们提出了建议之后都一一作了修改,如果还有机会上这一堂课,应该会交出一份更令人满意的答卷。 新城中学 阙华锋附三:上课用辅助表格Unit 5 Do you have a soccer ball?1.
