文档简介

Laboratory of Materials and structures of Civil Engineeringhttp:/www.lcpc.fr/fr/presentation/organigramme/div_lmsgc/The UMR Navier - LMSGC brings together mechanics and physicists, modellers and experimenters around the science of porous, heterogeneous and granular civil engineering materials. Research is supported by major technological equipment. The Magnetic Resonance Imager (MRI), which has been in service for 3 years and is managed by the UMR Navier - LMSGC, makes it possible to track the movements of liquids or phase changes within porous materials as well as local distortions of pasty or granular materials. Director: Philippe CoussotJoint cole des Ponts LCPC centreUnit associated with the CNRS UMR 113 (Cit Descartes)Permanent staff: 47 including 13 doctoral studentsMicro-mechanics and structural calculations The aim of this first topic is to develop tools for the mechanical behaviour of structures by using scaling methods and the construction of behavioural laws for multi-phase materials. This approach, at stuctural calculation level, shows the mechanical linkages that exist between the component elements of porous or reinforced materials.Trough the multi-year CASTOR project, researchers from the cole des Ponts and LCPC are together developing a numerical tool for sizing reinforced geotechnical stuctures by inclusions in the CESAR-LCPC software. The aim of this second topic is to understand and conduct predictive modelling of the physics of such phenomena, which determine the usage and durability of some materials. For example, we study the drying of porous materials (in removing the salt from historic monuments) cryodepollution of soils, drying of soils by electro-osmosis, or the mechanical effects of concrete swelling caused by chemical reactions.simulation numrique de matriau granulaireReophysics of pastes and granular media Civil engineering materials are often formed of granular assemblies immersed in a fluid phase (concrete-cement paste, ballast, drilling slurry, powders, paints, etc.). Using discrete numerical simulation and experiments on model or real materials, the aim of this topic is to understand the physical origins, at particle level, and to model the mechanical behaviour of these assemblies using MNR imaging, the UMR Navi
