化和异化并不矛盾，它们只是习语翻译中的两种不同选择。 模因作为文化复制和传播的基本单位，对英语习语翻译的归化和异化策略有一 定的解释力。关于模因的研究模因论被越来越多的理论家所接受。本文尽最大 努力用这个相对较新，基于模因的概念研究语言交流进化模式的文化进化理论阐释 英语习语翻译的归化和异化策略。这为深入理解英语习语翻译中的两种文化策略提 供了崭新的研究视角。
