教学设计 Unit 5 Why do you like pandas?Section A东光县第三中学 徐燕一、教学目标:1、Knowledge Objects(语言知识目标):Words: panda zoo tiger elephant koala lion giraffe animal cute lazy smart beautiful scaryDrills: Lets see the pandas first Why do you want to see the pandas? Because theyre cute. Why does he like the koalas? Because they are very interesting. 2、Ability Object(语言技能目标):展开各种任务活动,使学生能较熟练地谈论喜好及其原因。引导学生同步阅读,增强其运用语言获取更多信息的能力。3、Moral attitude(情感目标):a.培养学生自觉保护动物的意识。b.使学生更加热爱生活。热爱父母、热爱朋友,热爱自然。c.能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,发扬协作精神。4. Leaning strategy(学习策略):a. Guessing. 通过猜测的游戏形式调动学生积极性,活跃课堂氛围。b. Acting. 通过对话表演的形式,可以培养学生运用语言的能力。c. Discussion. 通过小组讨论, 明确在用中学、交流中学习的思想。5、Cultural awareness(文化意识):通过图片了解动物,并唤起学生保护动物的意识。二、Teaching Key Points(教学重点):words: flag, symbol, water, kill, ivory, danger, cut, save,Thailand.三、Teaching Difficult Points(教学难点):Phrases: be in great danger, cut down , get lost, one of ,be made of .The using of them and how to sum up the central meaning of each paragraph.四、Teaching Methods(教学方法)Scene Teaching methodsPairworkListening and practicing methods五、Teaching Aids(教具)A tape recorderA computerA map of the world六、Teaching Methods(教学设计):Step 1 Warming upTeacher shows some sounds of animals. Then let students guess what kind of animals they are.(such as tiger, elephants)(Intention:通过播放动物的声音引起学生的兴趣,把学生引入英语学习的氛围中)Step 2 Learn new words by yourself1. Present the new words by showing the pictures of animals.2. Learn new words together(Intention: students can review the words about animals they have learnt before and I can introduce the new words naturally by showing the photos)Step3 listening1. Play the tape, Call students to listen2. Play the tape again, Let them listen to the tape carefully and check the animals you hear in 1a(Intention: in this step, students can consolidate the words they learned few minutes ago. )Step 4 Learn words of adj1. Show the pictures of cute. fun. lazy interesting. smart. beautiful and learn2. Point to the picture of pandas and say “They are cute /fun/lazy.Step 5 Learn to make conversions1. Show tiger to class and then presentA: Lets see the pandas first.B: Why do you want to see the tigers?A: Because they are interesting2.Teach: want to do something Be +adj 是系表结构(Intention:学习一些形容词,为描述动物打基础。学习描述动物。谈论动物。)Step6 drillsI will ask some students to read the conversations after me. Then ask them practice this new language structures with their deskmates and in pairs. Then Ill ask some pairs to show their conversation in the front of the class. Ill check their pronunciation if necessary.(Intention: in this steps, students get drills of the words and sentence structures. Asking them to show their dialogue before class can cultivate their courage. They want to learn and speak English, but most time they are shy and diffident, for fear that they will make mistake, so it is a good chance for them to practice.) Step7 Summary(小结): In this class, we have learnt some new words and new patterns, please remember them. How to say the reason you like or dont like them. Let us love and protect animals.Step 8 Homework(作业)1.
