Explain that they will hear words that have the /s/ sound Play the tape and have the children say the words aloud.Check that the childrens pronunciation is correct by asking individual children to repeat the words after me, or after the tape.Listen for sounds Say that three of the words have a /is/sound in them but one word doesnt.Play the tape.
