TS-A and GBICC will map data flows and setup latency information and correlation graphs and dashboards. By capturing packets from the trading and market data network and decoding the application layer of the data, TipOff will identify designated protocol fields in the transaction and market data, conduct correlation analysis based on the information in the protocol fields (such as identification number or sequence number) and track the complete latency of transaction and quotation going through the core trading system, quotation system and dealer system. TipOff will correlate latency across message protocol transformations.TS-A and GBICC will setup TipOff to measure single hop and multiple hop latency continuously.TS-A and GBICC will configure the storage and filtering variables in able to store relevant information. TS-A and GBICC will show DCE how to access this stored information.TS-A will setup support for both TCP and UDP streams, for decoding and correlation as appropriate.TS-A and GBICC will setup appropriate filters for the traffic for different message types (such as buying & selling consignment, cancellation consignment or inquiry consignment) and provide maximum, minimum and average latency of these different types of messages. Additionally TipOff provides percentile and Standard Deviation calculations and analysis. TS-A and GBICC will setup TipOff to monitor ORDER, MODIFICATION, CANCELLATION and EXECUTION message flows. TS-A and GBICC will setup facilities for viewing maximum, minimum and average latency statistics in real time and historically for a variety of graphical views. TS-A will setup appropriate filters for traffic in order to monitor by message layer fields and will therefore present analysis on appropriate traffic types based on key fields in the message. TS-A and GBICC will setup appropriate graphs for statistics of different message types on the market. These graphs will be generated by TipOff, to reflect the performance data of different categories of orders, such as buying & selling consignment order, cancellation order and hedge order. This will be achieved by selecting the correct identifiers within the message and matching the identifiers according to the message type of interest.TS-A and GBICC will setup the ability to monitor TipOffs availability in real-time. Alarms/Alerts will be setup by TS-A and GBICC using minimum and maximum value criteria in order to do this. TS-A and GBICC will setup TipOff real time statistics graphs showing the last 1 second period. This means that with processing time and averaging time, real time statistics are around 2 seconds old at maximum.TS-A and GBICC will show DCE how the reports and dashboards support simplified Chinese text. Standard graphs, and tables will be in English. TS-A will continue to develop TipOff to support additional international languages, including Chinese. TS-A and GBICC will setup TipOff to support the following real time statistics; Average, maximum, minimum, any configurable percentile and standard deviation.TS-A and GBICC will setup TipOff to store its metrics in a time series database. TS-A and GBICC will show how these metrics can be analysed by selecting a historically stored time period.TS-A and GBICC will setup TipOff to guarantee capture of network packets at full line-rate. TipOff will time stamp, compresses and store network streams in PCAP or PCAPNS files stored on disk. TS-A will supply the 8TB versions of TipOff to support the long-term storage requirements of DCE. TS-A and GBICC will show DCE how to access these captured packets.TS-A and GBICC will setup graphs of statistical data within TipOff which will enable viewing of the curves and trends, over user selectable, historical time periods.TS-A and GBICC will show DCE how the standard functionality within TipOff provides a configurable Reports module. This provides the facility to support any daily, weekly, monthly and yearly report requirements.TS-A and GBICC will show DCE how different types of data can be stored in different ways in order to have differing types of storage for different streams.TS-A and GBICC will setup and show DCE how to use group and user level permissioning as a standard component of TipOff. TS-A and GBICC will show DCE how to perform backups of TipOff. By default TipOff automatically creates and stores a copy of its configuration. TS-A and GBICC will show DCE how TipOffs time-series database can be selected for backup when required. TipOff supports various utilities for performing these backups, TS-A and GBICC will show DCE how these utilities can be tailored to DCEs requirements. TS-A will be the prime contractor on the Dalian project. Local sales and marketing partners, Kapronasia have been appointed to handle the communications aspect of TS-As Chinese business and local consultancy and implementation partners, GBICC, will be employed to work with TS-A on the implementation and follow-on, backup support for DCE. TS-A will design and develop the solution at our base in London and will install the solution in partnership with GBICC. GBICC will have the first line customer support sub-contracted to it. All communication following the implementation will be between DCE and GBICC.
