I wish it would stop raining.,用于 宾语 从句 中,用于表示要求,命令,建议,意图,决定,推荐等意义的动词,如order, require, demand, suggest, advise, propose, command, request, insist, recommend等后接宾语从句时,从句谓语动词为(should+)动词原形。,I demand that he (should) answer me immediately. The teacher ordered that all of the students be here
31、 on time.,would rather(would sooner)后的宾语从句,谓语用一般过去时表现在或将来要做的事。如谈到过去的动作,则用过去完成时。,Id rather he didnt go home now.,用于 主语 从句 中,It is desired/suggested/ proposed/necessary/important/strange/natural/essential/a pity+that从句,从句中的谓语动词用“(should+)动词原形”。,It is important that every member (should) inform himself
32、 of these rules.,用于表 语从句 和同位 语从句 中,在suggestion, proposal, order, plan, idea, request, advice等名词后的表语从句和同位语从句中要用虚拟语气。其构成是“(should+)动词原形”。,He gave orders that the guests (should) be hospitably entertained.,用于表 语从句 和同位 语从句 中,as if/though引导的表语从句 过去时表现在 过去进行时表现在进行 过去完成时表过去 could/might/would+动词原形 表将来,It lo
33、oks as if he were 10 years younger today. It looks as if he hadnt had a meal for a week.,表2 虚拟语气注意事项,在条件 句中的 省略,如果虚拟条件句中含有were, should, had三个词,可将if省略,把这三个词前置到主语之前,形成部分倒装。,Were I in your position, I would do the same. Had you come earlier, you would have met her. Should he come tomorrow, I would give
34、 him the dictionary.,错综时 间虚拟 句,当条件状语从句所表示的行为和主句表示的行为所发生的时间不一致时,这种虚拟条件句称为错综时间虚拟句。动词的形式要根据它所表示的时间作出相应的调整。,If you had taken the doctors advice, you would be better now. If you had studied before, you would be a college student now.,含蓄虚 拟条件 句,有时假设的情况并不以条件句表示出来,而是暗含在上下文中,比如通过介词(短语)with, without, but for等
