一、题型解读:

上海英语高考卷的词汇部分以语篇的形式呈现,考核学生在语境中正确理解和运用词汇的能力,即考查考

生对篇章上下文的理解能力和使用词汇和语法结构的能力。其题目的设置为10道空白处,要求考生从所提

供的有11个单词构成的词库里选出最合适的词分别填入各空白处,使短文意思和结构完整,通顺得体。每

个单词只能选一次。这11个词均为实义词而非功能词,即考查的范围并不包含介词、冠词等虚词,而只对

名词、动词、形容词和副词进行考查。在这11个词中有1个单词为干扰项。选词填空综合了词汇、句子结

构以及阅读理解部分的测试内容。它不仅测试应试者在词汇和句子水平上运用语言的能力,还测试应试者

在语篇上综合运用语言结构的能力。

选词填空的考点:

1.词汇方面,以实词为主,考查名词、动词、形容词和副词四种词性;

2.语法方面,考查词性之间的关系和句子结构分析能力;

3.逻辑方面,考查上下文联系以及对文章的理解。

解题步骤详解:

第一步:整理选项(classifytheoptions)

根据词性把每个单词分类归纳,标出词性。考察的四类词性中,名词多做主宾;动词做谓语,形容词做定

表,副词做状语。副词个数最少,不会超过两个,其他词性平均出现三次,有两个的,也有四个的。

标注词性时要注意:

1.不认识的单词不要慌张,分析前后缀,或举例替换(oversee联想。veruse);值得一提的是,模考或真题

中出现过考纲之外的“生词”,这些词很眼熟,因为它是利用了构词法(多为前后缀派生法)知识衍生出

来的,构词法我们学过,多分析词性不难判断其含义。

2.注意多重词性的词,比如feature、concern>experience等。

3.动词的归类要继续细分为动词(包括过去式和三单一形式)、分词和动名词,因为一个空处,如果可以填

动词,但是填具体哪种形式则需要我们根据语法去进一步判断;这里尤为值得注意的是:v-ed和v-ing极有

可能是分词转换成的形容词,对于这类卧底词,千万留意。比如acquire这个词在academicskillsheacquired

和newlyacquiredskills中,前后截然不同。这时就要把它一律看成动词(包括上述的三小类),再根据是

否缺失形容词去断定选项。

4.如果选项中出现一组近义词或反义词,要结合上下文先试填,细细揣摩文意再敲定答案。因为这里面有一

个是干扰项,它注重考查的是词汇的精确理解,要求考生分析清楚其细微的区别。

第二步:通读全文,选词填空

用较快速度,沉着冷静地逐词逐句去读,一遍下来至少理解90%的内容。选词填空的选项词义互不关联,

词性也不同,而且还有干扰项,所以一定要先了解文章大意,带着文章脉络去找选项。读的时候设空处前

后的词重点留意,这对确定动词的具体形式,或根据相关词找固定搭配极为重要。

提醒:通读就是根据首段原则以及首末句原则,迅速抓住文章的主题。判断主题对篇章的整体理解把握具

有极大的作用。

我们在选择时,根据掌握的语法来初步判定每个空所填词汇的词性,缩小范围,然后根据上下文的文意确

定答案。如何判定原文空缺处所需单词的词性?

第三步:复读全文,谨慎调整,确定答案

填空完成后,再次复读,自我感觉上下文是否通顺,逻辑关系是否连贯。

"局考解密<<考点一:动词的确定

一个简单句有且只有一处谓语动词,一个完整的句子出现之后再跟逗号,后面的动词一般就是非谓语动词

形式了。判断动词时,可以从谓语和非谓语进行区分;如果是谓语,结合主谓一、时态、语态、固定搭配

及词义去辨析,缩小范围。

a.前后都是名词性或名词短语,中间一般是动词,时态确定看前后文;

b.空格前是名词或代词,后面没有宾语,填不及物动词(定从中除外);

c.空格前是名词或代词,后面是副词或介词,空格处填不及物动词并与后面的介词构成固定搭配;

d.注意不定时符号to后跟动词原形,介词to后跟名词或动名词;

e.情态动词后面跟动词原形;

f.空格前面是系动词,后跟形容词(可以是形容词化的分词)。

d.介词之后必有名词或相当于名词的词;

在进行这一步时要注意两个问题:

1.在英文中有的单词不只有一个词性,比如大家常见的visit、access、approach、challenge、change等就即

有名词词性又有动词词性。

2.以-ing或-ed结尾的词既可能是动词,也可能是由现在分词或过去分词转变而成的形容词。例如:sleeping

在"Sheissleeping.”中就是动词,而在"sleepingbeauty”中就是形容词,答题时以动词为首选进行判断。

第二步:抓住中心,略读文章

首先要抓住文章首句,迅速找到文章的主题词或主题。和完型填空一样,一般文章第一句不设空格,以便

让考生知道本文的相关主题词或主题。建议使用略读的方法,以快速掌握文章大意。

第三步:确定空格词性,填词入空

首先,根据语法知识确认可以被填入此空的词性,然后按第一步中标注出的词性进行筛选,最后将备选词

逐个代入空中细读句意,考虑上下问逻辑关系做出选择。

以示例中第一个空为例,空前面的词是has,这时出现两种情况:

1.has是及物动词后面可以加宾语,需要填入一个名词。

2.has是现在完成时的助动词,后面需要使用过去分词。

也就是说名词性的environment,joy,excitement,difficulty和过去分词形式的allowed,admitted,cheated都有可

能。但是空后面的是一个介词in而allowed,admitted都是及物动词后面加宾语时不需要介词,所以空中只

能从environment,joy,excitement,difficulty四个名词和cheated中选取。根据上下文,此空应为"困难”,而且

符合句型havedifficultyindoing,故选difficulty。然后请在difficulty的K处用笔作个记号,表示已用过了。

确认空格处词性的规律:

L确定空格为名词

(1)如果空格前面为冠词a/an/the、形容词adj.或者及物动词vt.,空格处应填入名词。示例第三空

(2)如果空格前面是介词,空格充当该介词的宾语,需填入一个名词。示例第二空ioy

(3)如果空格后面是谓语动词的,且空格前没有句子主语,空格处应填入该动词的主语(名词)。示例第九空

2.确定空格为动词

(1)如果空格前面已经有名词或代词做主语,后面又有名词或代词作为动词的宾语,且中间无谓语动词,空

格处应为及物动词。

(2)如果空格处前面是be动词,后面又无宾语且句意为被动,空格中应填及物动词的过去

(3)如果空格前面是名词或代词做主语,后面没有宾语或有一个介词加宾语,且中间无谓语

3.确定空格为形容词

(1)如果空格后面为名词的,空格处可能填入形容词。示例第八空necessary

4.确定空格为副词

第四步:跳读检查

只读有空格的句子,检查句意是否通顺。之后,再通读全文,进行再次检查。
