recently.WorldCom??hasradicallychangedthepublicmood。

Aspoliticalpressureforreformincreases,sotoodoestheheatonMrBush.Isthe

businessman'spresidentreallypreparedtotakebusinessonandpushhardforreform?Despitethe

setjawandaggrievedtoneinNewYork.Probablynot.Mr.Bushthinksthecurrentcrisisstems

fromafewbad-applechiefexecutivesratherthanthesystemasawhole.Hencehefocusontough

penaltiesforcorruptbusinessmenandhispleafbrhigherethicalstandards.Thepresident
