数词

基数词变序数词口诀：

基变序，很容易，词尾加上-th;

一二三，特殊记，八加h,九减e,f来把ve替；

若是遇上整十数，ty变作tie：

若是遇上几十几，只变各位就可以。

数词的用法

1.编号

编号可用基数词或序数词表示：

(1)基数词位于名词之后，且名词首字母要大写

(2)序数词位于名词之前，并加定冠词

eg：66路公交车：Bus66、BusNo.66或No.66Bus

第100页：Page100或the100thpage

332号房间：Room332、RoomNo.332或theNo.332Room

2.日期、年代

(1)用基数词表示"年"，年代是四位数时，常先读读前两位数，再读后两位数。

Eg:2023年读作twentytwenty-three

(2)英语中通常为“月、日、年〃

Eg:2009年10月25日:October25(th),2009

读作Octoberthetwentyfifth,twothousandandnine

(3)表达”世纪年代"时，在表达年份的阿拉伯数字后加・s或」s。

Eg:20世纪90年代::he1990s或the1990's读作thenineteennineties

18世纪40年代:the1740s或the1740's读作theseventeenforties

3年龄:"几十岁"inone's+基数词复数;attheageof...

Eg:Mysisteristwenty-threeyearsold.

Whenhewasinhisthirties,hebecameaveryfamousactor.

Shebegantolearnthepianoatherageoffive.

4.时刻

(1)整点：“整点时间+o'dock"；非整点：“整点数+分钟”

Eg:It'sseveno'clock.

It'sseventwenty.

(2)时刻读法：“整点数十分钟”；(分钟数小于或等于30分钟)“分钟数+past+整点数”:

(分钟数大于30分钟)“所差分钟数+to+下一整点数”

Eg:6:30读作sixthirty或halfpastsix

8:45读作aquartertonine

注意:15分钟常用aquarter,半小时常用half

5.分数、小数、百分数

①分数：分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于一时，分母需用序数词的复数形式

eg：1/3：one/athird

twothirds

岁：threequarters或threefourths

②小数：按照基数词的读法

eg：36.22读作thirty-sixpointtwotwo

③百分数

eg：88%读作eighty-eightpercent（percent没有更数形式）

6.倍数：“两倍”用twice/double,“三倍以上”用“基数词+times"，常用句型有:

①倍数ias...as

Eg：Wehaveproducedfourtimesasmanycomputersaswedidlastyear.

②倍数+比较级+than

Eg:Hisuncleistwiceolderthanhe.

ShehasreadthreetimesmorebooksthanIhave.

③倍数+the+名词+of:常见名词有size,height,length,depth,age,width,weight等

Eg:ChinaisalmostfivetimesthesizeofMexicoinarea.

7.“数词•可数名词单数（■形容词）”用作定语

Eg:afive-year-oldchild

athree-weekvisittoSingapore

8.序数词前不用the或省略the的情况

①表示“又一，再一”时

Eg:Theywantedtotryasecondtime.

②序数词前有物主代词或名词所有格时

Eg:Itsmy60thbirthday.

ThisisLily'stwelfthbook.

③“序数词+名词”构成合成形容词时

Eg:Therewillbeasecond-handclothesshoponthisstreet.

④固定搭配

Eg:atfirst,firstofall,everyfouryears

⑤序数词用作副词时

Eg:Hecamefirst.
