用法例子bemadeof/bemadefrombemadeof意为“由……制成”,可看出原材料Thechairsaremadeofwood.bemadefrom意为“由……制成”,看不出原材料Wineismadefromgrapes.besidesexceptexceptforbesides表示“除了……之外(还包括在内)”,含有“附加”的意思BesidesMrWang,wealsowenttoseethefilm.(王先生也去了)except表示“除了……之外(不包括在内)”,含有“减”的意思WewenttoseethefilmexceptMrWang.(把王先生排除在外)exceptfor后面所排除的内容与主语不是同一类Hisnovelisgoodexceptforafewspellingmistakes.
