Today,almost80%ofthepeopleintheworldspeakonly1%ofitslanguages.Every14daysalanguagedies.By
2100,halfofthemorethan7,000languagesspokenonEarthtodaymaydisappear.

Studyingdifferentlanguagesincreasesourunderstandingofhowhumanscommunicate.Languageisalsoan

Nativegroupsoftenhaveadeepunderstandingoflocalplantsandanimalsbecausetheyhavelivedclosetonature
