Ideologicalandpoliticalcase:thestrugglestoryoftheleadingfiguresinthesoftwareindustrySchoolofSoftware,ChengduPolytechnicLecturer:MuQichunThestoryofWangJian[IntroductiontoWangJian]WangJian,ChairmanofAlibaba’sTechnicalCommittee,formerExecutiveVicePresidentofMicrosoftResearchAsia,wasalsoaprofessor,doctoraladvisor,anddepartmentheadofPsychologyDepartmentsofHangzhouUniversityandZhejiangUniversity.InJune2008,JackMaputforwardtheideaofcloudcomputingforthefirsttimeattheB2BexecutivemeetingofAlibaba,Whichbroughtaboutgreatinternalcontroversiesandobjections,butJackMaprevailedoveralldissentingviewsanddemandedthatitmustbedoneimmediately.SoPengLei,nowtheSeniorVicePresidentofAlibaba,foundWangJianandpoachedhimtojoinAlibabawithgreateffort.InSeptember2008,WangJianleftMicrosoftResearchAsiatojoinAlibaba,andpioneeredthedata-centeredcloudcomputingarchitecture,named"Feitian”attheendof2008.Inthoseyears,Alibabastartedavigorous"IOEremoval"(IOEstandsforIBMminicomputer,Oraclecommercialdatabase,andEMCcentralizedstorage)undertheleadershipofWangJian,whichalsocausedalotofcontroversyintheindustry.GreatcriticismcomesfromAlibaba,andthereisnolackofvoicesquestioningWangJianfromseniorexecutivestoemployees.OnAlibabaIntranet,somepeopledirectlyscoldhimasaliar,somepeoplesaythathecannotwritecodeandshouldbelaidoff,andsomepeoplequestionthathemajoredinpsychologyanddoesn'tunderstandcloudcomputing.Healsogotthetitleof"AliOutsider".DoubtsfromallsidespervadedAlibaba.AtAlibabaCloudAnnualMeetingin2012,WangJiantookthestage,stoppedtalkingseveraltimes,andfinallyburstintotears.WangJianwipedtearsandemployeesshoutedoffstage"Doctor,don'tcry".Inthoseyears,thecloudcomputingresearchanddevelopmenthepresidedovertookhugesumsofmoney,butdidnotmakeachievements.HisemployeeshaveleftAlibabaoneafteranother,andnearly80%ofthemhaveeithertransferredtoTaobao,Tmallandotherbusinessdepartmentswhichareprosperousatthattime,orleftAlibabadirectly.ThestoryofWangJianAfterWangJiancalmeddown,hesaid,“ThescoldingIhavereceivedinthepasttwoyearsexceedsthatinmywholelife,ButIdon'tregretit.ThereasonIcryisthatIsawseveralcolleaguesbeforeIcameonstage.TheyusedtobeinAlibabaCloud,butnowtheyarenotinAlibabaCloud.”Fortunately,JackMatrustedWangJianandprovidetalentsandresourcesaslongasWangJianrequires,whichgaveWangJianareassurance.WangJianthoughtthatheandhisteamwillworkhardaslongasJackMasupportsandbelievesinthiswork.SoWangJiancontinuesthislongmarchoftechnology.Inthosedays,Alibabaseemedtobeasmoothwalker,butits"twolegs"-coretechnology-camefromtwoothertechnologycompanies:YahooandIBM.Therefore,cloudcomputingiskindof“amputation”forAlibaba,removingYahooandIBM.WangJianfirmlybelievesthattechnologyisthecorecompetitivenessofacompany,andAlibabacanfinditsirreplaceablesolidstrengthonlybychangingitsdependenceonothercompanies'technology.Meanwhile,withtherapidgrowthofAlibaba'sbusiness,therisingcostofITinfrastructurewilldragdownthecompany,andWangJianmustreplacetheoldengineandbuildthistechnologysystemfromscratch.WangJiandescribedhimself“Iwillnotjudgemybehavioraccordingtoexternalstandards”whenhedidnotshedtears.Heinnotindeed.HewastheonlyonewhoresolutelyrefusedtopublishpaperswhenheworkedforMicrosoftResearchAsia,Isn'titnormalforlargecompaniestohavesomedoubtsagainstinnovations?WangJiansaiditwascustomary.Onceinamealofagroupofpeople,LiuZhenfei,thecurrentpartnerofAlibabaandpresidentofGaodeGroup,askedWangJian:"SomanypeopleoutsidecriticizeAlibabaCloudandyouasunreliable,butyoudon'tseemtocare.”Everyonesataroundaroundtable,soeveryonecouldhearit.WangJianburiedhishead,thoughtforalongtime,andsaid,"Icareaboutnothing-adeadmousefeelsnocold.”Source:/a/448134491_655472ThestoryofWangJianWhatgainsandexperiencesdoyouhavefromWangJian'sexperience?Backtothepresent,inthepast2020andnow2021,thepeopleofthewholecountryandeventhewholeworldtakeactivemeasuresanddoagoodjobinpandemicpreventionandresistanceagainsttheoutbreakofCOVID-19pandemic.UnderthecorrectleadershipoftheCPCCentralCommittee,Chinesepeoplearecertaintowinthiswaragainstthepandemic.DuringtheoutbreakofCOVID-19,informationtechnology,especiallyvariousapplicationsystemsdesignedanddevelopedbasedonsoftwaretechnology,andevenvariousbigdatasystemsandartificialintelligenceapplicationssupportedbysoftwaretechnology,broughtgreathelptopandemicpreventionandresistance.Inordertopreventthepandemicfromspreadinginschools,postponingtheschooltimeisanimportantmeasure.Classessuspendedbutlearningcontinuesisnotonlyanemergencymeasureagainstthepandemic,butalsoanimportantapplicationdisplayofInternetpluseducation.Informationtechnologyhasmovedtheoriginalofflineeducationandteachingactivitiestoonline,refle
