decidedtofindateacherwhocouldaccompanyastronautsintospace.Theyhopedthatshewould

beabletocommunicatewithstudentsfromspaceandencourageeveryoneofthemtobe

interestedinspacetravel.Christawasasecondaryteacherinhistoryandsocialstudies.Shewasa
