llymoredangerousthannukes”andthelatterobservingthat,tofutureAl,wewouldbelikeantswhichhaveatendencytobesteppedupon,notoutofmalicebutsimplybecausetheygotintheway.Campbellsumsthisupasfollows:So,whathappensatthatfatefulmomentoftheSingularityasAlbeesselfaware?Willitcontinuetofollowthetasks,objectivesandrulessetbyitshumanmasters?IrefertoTheTerminatormoviefranchisetoexplainhowthatsituationplaysout:SkyNetAltakescontroloftheworld'swarmachinesanddecidestoeradicatetherealenemyhumanity.Thisouteisclassicscifi,butwhenseenfromourhumanhistoryandexperience,isitlikelythatadominant"oneintelligence"wouldhappilysharepowerwithaninferiorspecies?Therearenoexamplesinhumanhistorywherepowerfuleconomicandmilitarynationshaveactivelyacquiescedtoinferiorones...ItwouldtakeanunusuallyenlightenedAloverlordtocedepoliticaloreconomiccontroltotheirhumaninferiors.WhiletheprospectoftheSingularitymay,understandably,bealarming,Campbell'spointinmentioningitisnottopaintdoomsdaybuttowakeupthoseresponsibleforAIthetechnologypaniesandworldleaderssotheyareonthesamepageasalltheexpertscurrentlydevelopingit,anddoingsowithoutrobustlegislationoragreedethicalstandardstoguidetheirpath.Ifproperlymanaged,andasAlbyDesignconstantlyhighlights,artificialintelligencecanprovetobeanoverwhelmingforceforgood.Indeed,itisalreadyvastlyimprovingfoodyieldsinfarmers’fields,whichcouldonedayleadtoanendtofamine,anddevelopingexcitingnewmedicaltreatmentsthatwillallowustolivelonger,healthierlives.Andso,withintelligenceandinsight,thisbookexamineshowhumanitycancontrolAL.Itspurposeistobraceusfortomorrow'sAldominatedworldandoutlinepracticalguidanceforwhatsociety,businessesandgovernmentsacrosstheworldmustconsiderinitsdevelopment.Campbellexplainsweareata“tippingpoint”inhistoryandmustactnowtopreventanextinctionleveleventforhumanity.Weneedtoconsider,longbeforethegenieisoutofthebottle,howwewantourfuturewithAItopanout.Suchstructuredthinking,followedbyglobalregulation,willenableustoachievegreatnessratherthanourdownfall.ThewaytoachievethisaccordingtoCampbell,whosebookisthefirsttotacklethefutureofAIfromadesignperspective,isbyemployinga‘futureback’methodology.Insimpleterms,todefinethebestendgoal(futurestate)andthenworkbackwardstosetneartermprioritiesandmilestonestoachieveit.SeveralchaptersareaccordinglydedicatedtothemanagementofAl,itsgoverningandpolicing,andethicalconsiderations,andtheinsight,clearinstructionandadviceonofferwillbelappedupbythoseactivelyinvolvedinAI.Byfollowingtheroadmapsetoutbytheauthor,leaderscanproperlyeducatepeopletounderstandAI,adequatelypoliceAI,and,mostimportantly,managetheAI‘jobsbomb’loomingonthehorizonandtheresultingunemploymentfallout.ButthereissomuchtosavourandlearnevenifyourclosestinteractionwithAlisSiriorAlexa.Sectionscoveringthepotentialfutureofcybercrimeanddeepfaketechnology(suchastheviralvideooftheQueendancingonatable)areeyeopening,asareconcernsoverfacialrecognitionandprivacyinoursurveillanceage.ThentherearethepotentialmilitaryapplicationsthatemergefromtheAIarmsrace,andtheadventofAIpoweredLethalAutonomousWeapons,nottomentionaugmentedsoldiers.Thismergingoffleshwithtechnology,whichCampbellsumsupas“theurgetomerge",willalsospilloverintoeverydaylife,wherewecouldonedaybeencasedinroboticexoskeletonsgrantingussuperhumanstrength.EarlyadoptersincludeBritPeterScottMorgan,whohasusedtechnologytoreplacehismobilityandvoicetakenawaybymotorneuronedisease.Tosome,hehasbeetheworld’sfirstcyborg.TheurgetomergeisjustoneoffiveAIfuturescenariospresentedtothereader,whereCampbelldrawinguponinsightsintobehaviouralpsychology,economicsandhistorydepictsus,forinstance,boundforanewlifeonMars(escapingagenocidalAI),strugglingtomakeendsmeetinasocietywheremostjobshavebeentakenbyAI,orbuildingAlfreeenclavesina‘NewLudditeresistance’.Asyouwouldexpect,theworstscenariosalledowntonotmanagingthedevelopmentofAI.Ifhandledsensibly,however,wecouldbeinforsomethingofautopia,whereweenjoygreaterleisuretimeandsenseofmunitythaneverbefore,ablyaidedandassistedbyourdutifulAlpanions.UponfinishingAIbyDesign,IcameawaywithafargreaterappreciationofjusthowmuchinvestmentisgoingintoAI,whichispredictedtobethemostheavilyinvestedbranchoftechnologythisdecade,andhowthisisgoingtotransformourdailylives.Therewill,forsure,beupheavalsbutdespitethemanychallengesahead,Campbellishopefuloftheultimateouteifwecanetogetherwithasharedmission.Alltoldthen,thisisatrulyprehensivebookthatcoversavastsubjectinengrossingfashion,andwithasolutionledapproach.Itwillappealtoprofessionalswithinthebusiness,managementandtechnologysectors,aswellasreadersofauthorsinAIlikeKaiFuLee,StuartRussell,NickBostrom,andwillproveinvaluablereadingforanyoneinterestedinwheretheworldisheading.Asismadeabundantlyclear,AIwillaffectusall,andifyouonlyreadonebookonthesubject,thisisit.七选五题源出处:原文本:POSTED:JANUARY16,2020Welovetotravelandsodoyouandsodotonsofotherfolks.Thesheernumbersofusexploringtheworldareastounding;internationaltouristarrivalsgrew5%in2018toreachthe1.4billionmark.ThisfigurewasreachedtwoyearsaheadoftheWorldTourismOrganization’s(UNWTO)forecast.AccordingtoUNWTO'slongtermforecast
