encouragecustomerstobuymorethantheyneed.However,afewofthemarecoming

roundtotheideathatthiscannotcontinue,encouragingcustomerstoreusetheirplastic

bags,forexample.

Butthisisnotjustaboutsupermarkets.Itisaboutallofus.Wehavelearnedto

associate(联系)packagingwithquality.Wehavelearnedtothinkthatsomething

unpackagedisofpoorquality.Thisisespeciallytrueoffood.Butisalsoappliestoawide

myownlimitations.Anyonewithgoodreasoningskillssoonbeginstoseetheriskof

lookingforthe"hardtoreach"goal.Itwasn'tuntilIwastwenty-twoyearsoldthatIbegan

togetintouchwithmytrueself.AsAlbertEinsteinsaid,"Onceweacceptourlimitations,
