Theinstitutesaysthegrowthintakingabroadprogramsispartlybecauseofmorechoicesofshortersemesters.MorethanhalftheAmericanstudentswhogoabroadstudyinEurope,thoughfewerthaninthepast.StudentshaveshowngrowinginterestinAsia,LatinAmerica,AfricaandtheMiddleEast.
