TheFrSkyTaranisX9DPlus2019isare-designedversionwithadditionslikeanadditionalmomentarybuttonplacedonthetopleftshouldermakingitergonomicallyfriendlyforDLGpilotstoactivatelaunchmode,andfeaturesaprogramscrollwheelmakingiteveneasiertonavigatethemenus.TheupgradedMCUisusedinconjunctionwithare-designedmainboardthatfurtherincreasesthecomputingcapabilityandincreasesthedatastorage.TheupgradesnotonlyimprovetherunningofLUAscripts,italsooptimizesoverallperformancelikevoicespeechoutputs.

The2019versionusesthelatestACCESScommunicationprotocol,itboasts24channelswithafasterbaudrateandlowerlatencywithahigh-speedmoduledigitalinterface.AlongwiththenewspectrumanalysisfunctionaddedtotheOpenTXfirmware,itisnowpossibletochecktheairwavesforRFnoise.ThisversionwillgiveyouafurtherimprovedexperiencebasedontheclassicTaranisremotecontrol.Additionally,tonsofextraupcomingfeaturesthatACCESSbringswillmakethisanidealtransmitterforanyskilllevel.

TheSE2019versionisinstalledwiththeupgradedswitchesandM9hallsensorgimbalsandfeaturestheadditionofaPARAwirelesstrainerfunctionwhichmakesthemcompatiblewiththeFrSkyFreeLinkAppandAirLinkS.

Step2:SettheChannelRange

TheInternalRFmoduleofTaranisX9DPlus2019/TaranisX9DPlusSE2019supportsupto24channels.Thechannelrangeisconfigurable,andneedstobeconfirmedbeforeuse.

Step3:SettheReceiverNumber

Whenyoucreateanewmodel,thesystemwillassignyouareceivernumberautomatically,butthiscanbeeasilychanged.Therangeofthereceivernumberis00-63,withthedefaultnumberbeing01(use00isnotrecommended).OncethereceiverissettodesirednumberandisboundtotheTaranisX9DPlus2019/TaranisX9DPlusSE2019,thebindprocedurewillnotneedtoberepeatedunless

thereceivernumberischanged.Inthiscase,eithersetthereceivernumbertothepreviousoneorrepeatthebindprocedure.

Thereare4failsafemodes:Nopulse,Hold,Customandreceiver.

NoPulse:onlossofsignalthereceiverproducesnopulsesonanychannel.Tousethistype,selectitinthemenuandwait9secondsforthefailsafetotakeeffect.

Hold:thereceivercontinuestooutputthelastpositionsbeforesignalwaslost.Tousethistype,selectitinthemenuandwait9secondsforthefailsafetotakeeffect.

Custom:pre-settorequiredpositionsonlostsignal.Movethecursorto“Set”andpresstheScrollButton,andyoucanseeFAILSAFESETTINGscreenbelow.

Movethecursortothechannelyouwanttosetfailsafeon,andpresstheScrollButton.

Whenmovingthecorrespondingsticksorswitches,youwillseethechannelbarmoving.MovethechannelbartotheplaceyouwantforfailsafeandlongpresstheScrollButtontofinishthesetting.Wait9secondsbeforefailsafetakeseffect.

4.Turnonyourreceiverpower.

5.Testallcontrols.Ifaservooperatesabnormally,don’tattempttoflyuntilyoudeterminethecauseoftheproblem.

6.Startyourengine.

7.Completeafullrangecheck.

8.Afterflying,bringthethrottlesticktoidleposition,engageanykillswitchesorotherwisedisarmyourmotor/engine.

Ifyoudonotturnonyoursystemonandoffinthisorder,youmaydamageyourservosorcontrolsurfaces,floodyourengine,orinthecaseofelectric-poweredorgasoline-poweredmodels,theenginemayunexpected-lyturnonandcauseasevereinjury.

Makesureyourtransmittercan’ttipitover.Ifitisknockedover,thethrottlestickmaybeaccidentallymoved,causingtheenginetospeedup.Also,damagetoyourtransmittermayoccur.

Usingafullychargedbattery(DC6.5~8.4V).Alowbatterywillsoondie,causinglossofcontrolandacrash.Whenyoubeginyourflyingsession,resetyourtransmitter’sbuilt-intimer,andduringthesessionpayattentiontothedurationofusage.Also,ifyourmodelusedaseparatereceiverbattery,makesureitisfullychargedbeforeeachflyingsession.

Stopflyinglongbeforeyourbatteriesbecomeoverdischarged.Donotrelyonyourradio’slowbatterywarningsystems,intendedonlyasaprecaution,totellyouwhentorecharge.Alwayscheckyourtransmitterandreceiverbatteriespriortoeachflight.
