名词性从句NounClauses名词性从句定义起名词性作用的从句,叫名词性从句。在英语的句子结构中,本来该由名词充当的主语、宾语、表语和同位语部分,换由一个句子来充当,这样的句子就是名词性从句。引导词从属连词(3个):that,if,whether连接代词(9个):who、whom、what、which、whose、whoeverwhomever、whatever、whichever连接副词(4个):when、why、where、howNounClauses主语从句1)由what等代词引起的主语从句:Whattheteachersaidtodaywasquiteright.

2)由连词that引起的主语从句:Thattheyarebadlyinneedofhelpisquiteclear.Itisquiteclearthattheyarebadlyinneedofhelp.that无实意,不做成分,但不可省略.that引导主语从句,常用形式主语it.NounClausesIt做形式主语的有以下句型

3).主语从句不用if来引导,应用whether,表示“是否”含义Whethertheywillsellthehouseisnotyetdecided.他们是否卖掉这所房子还没有决定。4)whatever,whoever也可引导主语从句。Whateverwassaidheremustbekeptsecret.这里说的话都应当保密。NounClauses宾语从句宾语从句在复合句中作宾语。Ihope__________________________.Iknow(that)shewasborninthecountry___________________________(that)everythingisallrightand
