题型简介

读后续写是一种将阅读与写作紧密结合的考查形式,旨在考查考生的综合语言运用能力。在新高考中,

读后续写为写作部分的第二节,分值25分,建议用时30分钟左右。

读后续写题型的构成为一段350词左右的语言材料和所要续写段落的段落开头语,要求考生依据该材

料内容及所给段落开头语进行续写(150词左右),将其发展成一篇与给定材料有逻辑衔接、情节和结构完

整的短文。

一、理清文章脉络,明确文章主旨

就目前高考命题情况来看,读后续写的阅读材料为记叙文,大多浅显易懂,但故事情节曲折动人,故

事线索的逻辑性也较强,要求考生续写的部分多是故事发展的高潮或结局,考生要抓住故事的叙事线索,

依据原文的写作思路续写文章,并适当发散思维。

一般来说,完成一篇完整的记叙文写作,需要选取合适的角度、按照一定的顺序组织素材进行叙述,

其中包括六个基本要素:时间、地点、人物,事情的起因、经过和结果,即我们通常所说的“5W1H"(What,

who,when,where,why,how),>所以在通读阅读材料的过程中,首先应着重找出“5W1H信息“,抓住文章主

要内容,理清文章脉络。

与此同时,我们还要对所给材料的主旨进行概括,以便掌握全篇文章的主要基调,在续写时能够更好

地延续文章主旨,增加续写部分与所给材料的融洽度。

与汉语文章一样,英语阅读材料也有线索。情节线与情感线就像是一篇文章的“骨骼”和“灵魂”,共同决定整

篇文章的内容走向与主旨走向。情节的发展推动整个故事的发展,所以读后续写中理清所给材料的情节发

展脉络,可使续写部分的情节更加连贯,上下文衔接更加自然;读材料的过程中读懂人物情感的变化则有

助于把握原文的主旨,并引导续写部分的主旨走向,实现情感升华,将续写部分的整体情感基调推向一个

较高的层次。我们可以从叙述结构、时空顺序、文本线索三个角度梳理情节线索和情感线索。

二、构建丰富且合理的续写情节

我们首先应该以从所给阅读材料中梳理出来的信息为续写背景,接着通过对两段段落所给出的开头语

进行分析,推测要写的内容构,建出续写内容的主要情节框架。

根据两段段落开头语,可以确定第一段的主要情节,根据第一段的段落开头,可以顺推该段续写的第一句

话内容,即第一段情节应该从何开始;在根据第二段的段落开头,可以逆推出第一段的尾句,即第一段情

节应该到哪里结束。

根据第二段的开头语,可以顺推出第二段的情节,第二段尾句则应有文章主旨以及感情的升华,以正

能量的语句(或自己从中得到的感悟等)进行总结,从而结束续写。

在续写过程中,应该注意以下儿个问题:不随意添加无关人物;不添加旁支情节;不使用过多对话;不使

用负能量结局:不在文末设置悬念;不偏离原文主题;不违背逻辑常理。

三、润色语言,提高文采

同汉语记叙文一样,描写也是英语记叙文的一种辅助的表达方式,对加强文章的表现力发挥着重要的

作用,这就要求我们善于捕捉细节、刻画细节(如心理描写、动作描写、环境描写、外貌描写、神态描写),

还可以用上比喻、拟人、夸张等修辞手法。同样地,议论、抒情的表达方式对记叙文主题的展现也发挥着

重要的作用。同时还要注意,读后续写评分标准中的其中一项是上下文的连贯。所以在写作中,我们要注

意续写部分与原文的形式和意义两方面都要保持连贯。我们可以通过恰当准确地使用过渡词,来达到文章

形式上的连贯性。

文章语言不但要优美,而且遣词造句更要多样化。有老师提出,一篇作文中同一个单词不要重复使用。

虽然这有点言过其实,但是足以体现出多样化语句的重要性,因为阅卷老师只能通过学生的用词和句式来

判断学生的语言水平。

这就要求我们不仅要熟练掌握语法知识、句式结构,(比如倒装句、强调句、非限制性定语从句、分词

作状语、各种状语从句、独立主格、虚拟语气等),还要掌握大量的词汇,以及同义词转换(新版高中课程

标准所要求的3000词必须要掌握,有余力的同学还可以背四级词汇,尽可能扩充自己的词汇量,在阅读理

解题型中也会受益)。
