Thescientistsvirtuallymodeledandstudiedcarefullyelephants,40p53proteins,findingtwowaysthegene

couldhelpelephantsavoidcancer.First,thefactthatelephantspossessmultiplecopieslowersthechanceofp53no

longerworkingbecauseofmutations.Additionally,elephants,p53copiesactivateinresponsetovaryingmutations
